Megan Thee Stallion may have the best curls in the rap game (sorry, have you seen how long thick and healthy her natural curls are?), but we are lovvvvving this very different straight hairstyle on the rapper. We'll cut to the chase, it's blue. It's baby blue, it's aqua blue, it's highlighted blue, it's low-lighted blue, the roots are blue. It's blue daba-di daba-dii.
We were excited when she bleached her hair a couple of months ago, and she has even donned blue hair before, but this transformation is next level. The base colour is an icy baby blue, while aqua lowlights can be seen swiping through, as well as that dense aqua root. Perfection.
It's giving magical pixie creature meets Y2K pin up and we can't stop staring. Tell me those XXL orange and blue nails aren't giving magical gemstone creature too? Not to mention the utterly 2000s vibe of her metallic bikini and plastic fruit jewellery.
In fact, it's giving Sapphire from the iconic 00s cartoon TrollZ (2004-5). You know? Where each magical Troll girl had a hair colour to match the gem stone in her belly button (the seat of her powers)? And I see a gem in Meg's belly button!
We know this is for sure a wig – Megan's wig game is as strong as her curl game – but that doesn't mean we don't get to be as obsessed with it as we are.
BRB, just off to watch every episode of Trollz.
