At this point the only 'statement' beauty choice we would be shocked by from Julia Fox would be not making a statement β Julia in her Normcore era? No thanks. From drastic super villain eyeshadow, to a grey-rooted champion of ageing, she likes to go big or go home.
So when I heard she'd gone red... I knew it wasn't going to be pumpkin spice latte hair.
Julia debuted the new 'do at the Willy Chavarria Fall 23 show at NYFW, and delivered on a fiery red I can only describe as a rusted crimson. And of course, the actor had scarlet brows to match, their lines mirrored in her exaggerated lip liner (sorry, I went a bit GCSE Art theory on you there).
The look was so striking, that it took five mins of indecisively trying to choose a photo for this story for me to notice her football jersey was a sheer mesh, delivering a subtle free the nipple moment.
If hair is so bold it almost makes us miss that, you know that's some bold hair.
In some photos it does look a little like hair paint or a thick colour depositing mask, so whether it's permanent or not, who knows?
Everyone's clicking on...
All we can say for sure, is that this powerful, kick-arse hue is certainly bang on the mark for Julia's bold and chaotic energy. Oh god, that's that GCSE art theory sneaking back in again, and to think parents say you'll never use it...
