As a TikTok girlie myself, I understand the effect a dramatic transition can make. Whether that be a screen swipe, hand-to-camera moment or even a simple click of the fingers, it really can make all the difference to a 'before and after' look. And one celebrity who, like me, appreciates said social media transitions (it's a niche topic, I'll admit) is Nicole Scherzinger. And today, she has debuted her best yet.

The singer-meets-song-writer-meets-ex-Pussycat-Dolls-star – she's a woman of many talents – has continuously been giving me a run for my money when it comes to creative beauty reels. Today's transformation is one to note: she goes from having XXL pin-straight locks to a chin-length bouffant bob in a matter of seconds.

"Let’s get this week started right. I hope y’all are feeling good!", she writes in the caption of her Instagram video post.

As shown, within the first few seconds, Nic is rocking a natural, no-makeup, bare-faced look with her trademark dark tresses styled down and straight. Then, once she claps her hands, she has a full face of glam makeup on and her locks are significantly shorter.

The latter of the two hairstyles is giving us *major* 60s vibes with its bouffant bob style and voluminous quiff. Now, as much as we'd love to believe this is a permanent cut, we must acknowledge that it is most probably a wig or even, a hair illusion. For all we know, Nicole's hairstylist (who is still yet to be named) has clipped the ends of her hair up and under her neck to create the appearance of shorter hair.

I suppose only time will tell! Perhaps Nicole will do a big Christmas day reveal... to cut or not to cut, that is the question.
