It's a Christmas miracle: Shay Mitchell has done a magical vanishing number on her eyebrows and now, they're nowhere to be seen! OK, perhaps I'm embellishing the truth a little here (metaphorically speaking – keep those baubles on the tree, pls) as the actor has, in fact, bleached her brows to meet this season's biggest beauty trend. Naked brows, we meet again...
To debut said new look, Shay took to Instagram whilst we Brits were fast asleep (well, I was anyway), leaving us to wake up to the delight. And in case you folk haven't taken to the 'Gram just yet, take it from me: Christmas has come early with the following glam. Bring on the festivities!
"Had the absolute best time shooting this story with @gregswalesart for @alexa_nypost and the team! More photos to come ✨", she writes in the caption of the six-part carousel post, revealing that the shoot was for an interview with the New York Post.
If you weren't already aware, Shay dyed her hair red back in September of this year and now, to take the colour job that one step further, she's bleached her brows to match. Although not quite as vibrant as the locks on her head, the star's eyebrows sit between the blonde and red realm. Aka, a dusty 'brende'... not quite as catching as bronde, is it?
Shay's MUA and the genius behind the look, Ash K Holm also shared a close-up snap to her feed which you can also see below:
Whilst we cannot be certain whether or not this is a dye job or concealer cover-up, what we do know is that the trend (cc. Noah Cyrus and Cara Delevingne) is everything and more.
