We all have those days when we just don't feel like our very best selves. Today, it being a Friday, my eye bags are not so much Gucci, more so Sainsbury's, and my locks are looking a little lacklustre after a busy week. Tomorrow it may be that I think my hairline is weird, or pores are huge, or it may even be that my nail beds suck (I could quote Mean Girls for days, don't @ me). But that's not to say that these things aren't completely normal.
And one celebrity that's got me feeling this type of way (read: candid) so early on a weekday, is world-renowned supermodel and glazed doughnut skin connoisseur, Hailey Bieber. You may not think it, but Justin Bieber's wife has 'imperfections', too. Yep, shock horror.
Taking to her Instagram Story overnight, Hailey shared an up-close selfie of her glowing skin – courtesy of her very own skincare brand, Rhode, ofc. See said beauty below:
While there's not a blemish in sight and she is stunningly gorgeous, as we're all up in her grill, we can actually see the star's real skin texture. And by that, I mean her pores.
Among the glitz and the glam of the underground Hollywood vampire ring (as I once read and theorised), this is super refreshing to see. Social media can be a scope for perfection and skewed realities, to put it quite frankly, so although it may seem trivial, a glimpse at Hailey Bieber's pores is somewhat necessary for some!
And to give credit where credit is most certainly due, this isn't the first time Hails has gotten candid online. In April 2022, the model took to her TikTok account to share an up close and personal unfiltered video, albeit with a slick of makeup on.
Everyone's clicking on...
She really do be flexin' that Rhode beauty skincare!
Of course, we have no doubt that Hailey has access to some of the world's greatest beauty products and treatments, so, she does have a leg up on us regular folk who, well, just don't. However, we do love that she has opted not to filter her video and show her real skin in all its glory.
More of this, please!
