Selena Gomez just underwent a dramatic transformation and it’s giving us major Mia Thermopolis vibes. If you’ve not opened Instagram in the past 24 hours, you’d be none the wiser to the incredible looks from the 2022 SAG Awards. But, if you’re anything like me, you’ve been non-stop refreshing your feed and double-tapping to your heart's content.
One hair and makeup look in particular that has us all stunned is from none other than Selena Gomez. I mean, if I could like it twice, I would.
Selena's glam team for the night, celebrity hairstylist Marissa Marino and celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo, both shared videos of the before and after transformation – and let’s just say, the already natural beauty looks so glam post-makeover.
In the ‘before’ shot, the singer is seen to be rocking fresh-off-the-pillow puffy bedhead hair and a natural makeup-less face that is still glowing. After a swift transition (we love a good transition), the star shows off her fluffy brows, bronzed eye, and nude lip makeup look that has been paired with the signature Selena sleek bun. Oh, how I wish I had a glam squad on speed dial.
While Hung, unsurprisingly, used a full-face of Rare Beauty, Marissa shared with us her secrets behind the hair look. "After blow drying the hair straight, I used Tangle Teezer’s The Ultimate Finisher to pull the hair into a smooth, bump free bun. It so effortlessly separates hair that may be clumped together to create a flawless look" Marissa said.
Of course, the only appropriate song to play over the video would be the Disney alum's very own Look At Her Now. And to no surprise, all eyes are looking at her now, as fans also had a lot to say about the transformation:
