"Whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed..."

...That's the iconic line that should have tipped us off to the fact that no amount of halloween decorations nor autumnal cosy vibes can distract from the fact that really, October is the annual anniversary of the release of Legally Blonde (it was first released in October 2001, FYI).

It is, after all, a life-changing movie for many - including Cosmopolitan, when Elle held up a copy in prison and referred to it as 'the bible'. Side note: remember when Kim K literally dressed up as Elle for halloween last year? Like I said, October is Legally Blonde month. No objections.

To celebrate 20 years since the film's production, the cast of Legally Blonde reunited over Zoom. And either every cast member has been cryogenically frozen since the movie's release two decades ago, or they put some serious effort into their hair and makeup for the occasion. I'm guessing it's the latter.

Let's start with Reese, who appeared in a bouncy blow-dry and a subtle pink lip matching her fuchsia top (classic Elle). Then there's handsome Emmett (played by Luke Wilson) and his even more handsome hair.

Sidenote: can we discuss his continued chemistry with Reese, please? She literally cried at the sight of him 😍 Side-side note: My fave part was when Luke seemed to mistake the reunion's host, SNL's Chloe Fineman for a former cast member, telling her she looked 'no different'. Hilarious.

Another highlight, for me, was the iconic Jennifer Coolidge (who played Elle's manicurist and confidante). Her hair was also the exact shade as in the movie - albeit a little glossier.

Brooke, along with both of Elle's BFFs Alanna and Margot looked like carbon-copies of their 2001 selves. And beside her chic as heck tweed outfit, Vivian (Elle's nemesis-turned-pal, played by Selma Blair) looked even cooler, sporting a badass black pixie crop.

With a release date in sight for Legally Blonde 3, we're absolutely stoked to see these iconic characters (and the gorgeous cast) back in touch - and all for a good cause, raising funds for World Central Kitchen.

Say it with me: what, like it's hard?
