We love celebrity mums who go out of their way to normalise post-pregnancy beauty issues. Case in point: Chrissy Teigen, who showed her Instagram followers the "itchy red spots" she had to deal with after giving birth to daughter Luna in 2016.

Now model Ashley Graham is keeping things real by discussing her post-partum hair loss.

Shedding a certain amount of hair is normal (on average we lose around 80 strands a day), so don't panic if your shower drain gets a bit clogged every now and then.

But certain triggers can cause it to become more noticeable, and it's worth speaking to your doctor if you're not sure what's causing yours. One of the triggers can be having a baby, which is exactly what Ashley has been experiencing since giving birth to son Issac in January.

It's called postpartum alopecia, and it's down to oestrogen levels taking a tumble after pregnancy. Your hair should return to its former glory within a year of giving birth, but there's a lot to be said for taking care of your scalp and the re-growth coming through.

Ashley revealed to her 11 million followers this week that she's been leaning on Kérastase Initialiste Advanced scalp and Hair concentrate, £41.05 to restore her hair to its former glory.

She gave followers an "edge update," pulling at the tufts along her hairline and saying, "You can see the little baby hairs."

"No one is giving me money for this," she added. "I'm just telling y'all because I was freaking out, and now I know."

Either way, the baby hairs are cute. Thanks for sharing, Ashley.
