Here at The Cosmopolitan Black Beauty Hub, we absolutely do not gatekeep, so when we get a chance to quiz some of our favourite Black women about their go-to beauty products, tips and treatments, we don't hold back – after all, that's how our Little Black Beauty Book franchise was born. All the tea on our favourite star's life in beauty, served hot.

This week, we caught up with Irish DJ, Jazzy, to explore her Little Black Beauty Book...

What does Black beauty mean to you?

Any recs for places for aesthetic procedures?

The most I’ve ever had done is micro needling, which I get done by SkinGod in Dublin. He’s amazing!

What’s your wash-day routine?

I like to use a John Frieda hydrating hair mask 1-2 times a week before I wash with the Bed Head shampoo and conditioner for curly hair. Then, I apply the Bed Head curl cream and diffuse until dry!

Go to hair salon/hairdresser?

My favourite place to go is Callah Crowns in Dublin! Stephanie is insanely talented, and I always feel so safe in her hands

Have you had any bad hair experiences?

I had one bad experience as a teenager; the hairdresser was a bit scissor-happy and took more than I wanted from the length. I was devastated.

I love the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant.
