Get ready to say goodbye to summer, and hello to pumpkin spice season, as the iconic Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is officially back, as of today (28th August).
There's also a brand new menu for autumn - and it includes a sweet twist on the original Pumpkin Spice Latte! Introducing the Pumpkin Spice Caramel Macchiato, bringing together the sweet caramel flavour of the classic Caramel Macchiato to pair it with those traditional autumnal spices we associate with the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
It features steamed milk with Pumpkin Spice flavour sauce blended with signature espresso and finished with caramel drizzle and a spice blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. We were the first to try it in the UK and we thought it was the perfect combination of sweet and spice.
The first thing that hits you is the rich caramel layer on top, giving it a smooth, indulgent sweetness. But it’s not overpowering - thanks to the warm, spiced pumpkin base that balances everything out perfectly. It’s equal parts sweet and seasonal, with just the right kick of pumpkin spice to make it feel festive without being too much. If you're into comforting, autumn-inspired drinks with a twist, this one’s definitely worth a sip, plus you can also get it in an iced version too.
They're not the only new additions to the menu. Also joining the food menu is a vintage Cheddar and smoked bacon quiche made with a buttery shortcrust pastry that's filled with vintage Cheddar, crème fraiche & free-range eggs, and finished with dry cured bacon pieces.
There's also a vegetarian version too which features vintage Cheddar, crème fraiche & free-range eggs, topped with caramelised balsamic onions and a Red Leicester & chive crumb.

And there's a new pork and maple bacon lattice, which is made from a rich and savoury blend of British minced pork and smoky maple bacon, wrapped in golden, all-butter puff pastry.
On the sweet side of things there's some new additions too. A white chocolate and cherry blondie is being added to the menu which is swirled with Morello cherry jam, decorated with white chocolate flavoured drizzle and freeze-dried cherry pieces.
And that's not all. We're very excited about the addition of the blueberry crumble croissant bun, which is a flaky croissant bun hand filled with blueberry compote, topped with a golden all-butter crumble.
The full menu will be available to all Starbucks customers from 4th September in store and online. And the Pumpkin Spice drinks range is available from today (28 August) for Starbucks Rewards members.
