Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift missed the VMAs this year, which maaaaaybe had something to do with the fact that they had major plans the next night: attending the opening of Travis Kelce's new steakhouse.
TMZ reports that Travis and Taylor were in attendance at the opening of 1587 Prime (which Travis co-owns with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes), and sources say the pair arrived hand-in-hand at 6:15. Apparently, they were then "tucked into a semi-private corner booth, where things stayed low-key but affectionate."
Pictures from the event haven't popped up just yet (we'll add them here when they do), but apparently Tay wore a blue denim dress with wedges, and she and Trav "acted like any normal couple—laughing with his teammates, trading quick kisses, and flashing smiles across the room whenever they drifted apart."
Apparently Taylor and Travis are also in wedding planning mode, and a source recently told People that they "want to keep it more private" and that "it will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy."
Meanwhile, Taylor is "still showing off" her gorgeous engagement ring from Travis, and the source says "She’s incredibly happy. It’s all just perfect."
Reminder that Trav has a home game at Arrowhead Stadium coming up this weekend, so keep an eye out for a Taylor appearance!
