The Traitors Season 3 Murders
Episode 10 Murder: Tom (Faithful)
It took much longer than I thought, but Tom Sandoval was finally given his eviction notice in Episode 10. Danielle and new Traitor recruit Britney knew that Tom never lets go of a theory, and now that he’s locked in on Danielle, he wasn’t going to let it go. So, their plan was to kill Tom and frame Gabby for banishment. In the end, Tom left the castle just as cocky as he arrived, saying, “Overall, I was a pleasure to work with, for the most part, and valued and respected. That’s all I can ask for.”
Episode 9 Murder: Sam (Faithful)
In the turret, Danielle and Carolyn couldn’t decide whether or not to try to recruit an extra Traitor or commit a murder. In the end, Carolyn just couldn’t get on board with Danielle’s plea to recruit Britney, and they decided to murder Sam. It might seem like a strange move to kill Sam when Dylan was right there, but Carolyn didn’t want to go down that road and instead pushed for Sam, who proved himself to be more of a threat than originally thought in the last episode. RIP to Sam’s shirtless work out b-roll.
Episode 8 Murder: Chrishell (Faithful)
At the end of Episode 7, Dylan, Tom, Chrishell, Dolores, Gabby, and Carolyn were all at risk of being murdered. (Well, not Carolyn, but the Faithfuls didn’t know that!). In the end, the two remaining Traitors chose to murder Chrishell, telling her that she was “too Faithful” and would never have been banished. So she was put in a coffin instead! In her post-mortem interview, Chrishell said that she wasn’t surprised to see Danielle, but was shocked that Carolyn was also a Traitor.
Episode 7 Murder: Derrick (Faithful)
As Derrick predicted, Rob murdered him before he could get another opportunity to expose him as a Traitor. Danielle was not happy with the pick, but after the trio of Traitors was unable to agree, she caved hoping it would wipe the slate clean in the turret. But Rob’s decision might lead to his demise. After Derrick’s death was announced, he immediately turned to Dylan and claimed he’d been framed—which is exactly what Derrick told Dylan would happen.
Episode 6 Murder: Bob H (Faithful)
No one, and I mean no one, in the castle was ready to say goodbye to Bob H. Except Boston Rob, who knew that Bob H was starting to doubt his loyalty. Unable to truly get on the same page, Carolyn and Danielle agreed, and the deed was done. The next morning, waiting to see who would appear at breakfast, Ciara declared, “I swear to god if they kill Bob H, I’ll set this place on fire.” I support you and your arson, Ciara. Justice for Bob H!
Episode 5 Murder: Robyn (Faithful)
Boston Rob nominated Robyn for murder, saying that she is the one player no one suspects of being a Traitor. Carolyn resisted, and she and Danielle tried to make the case for killing Gabby and breaking up the Bambis. At the end of the day, though, Danielle decided to capitulate to Boston Rob in the hopes that she could avoid becoming his next target...so that she can go after him. Carolyn reluctantly agreed, and Robyn got the axe. RIP.
Episode 4 Murder: Jeremy (Faithful)
Traitor Danielle Reyes put the final nail in Survivor alum Jeremy Collins’ grave, but this murder might have been a miscalculation. Yes, the Traitors took out a potential threat, but Carolyn, who had objected to almost every murder since the first, was devastated by the choice.
Episode 3 Murder: Chanel Ayan (Faithful)
It’s hunting season at the Traitors castle, and the Real Housewives are the prey. For their second murder, the Traitors—now including Survivor’s Rob Mariano (aka Boston Rob)—chose to go after Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan (aka Ayan or, as Alan called her, a “Real Housewife of Du-bye-bye”), hoping to create more chaos and potentially put a target on fellow Housewife Robyn Dixon’s back.
Episode 2 Murder: Dorinda (Faithful)
After sacrificing herself for the good of the team in the very first challenge, Dorinda was murdered on night one. She may have survived six seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, but ultimately, she didn’t have what it takes to escape the Traitors.
The Traitors Season 3 Banishments
Episode 11 Banishment: Britney (Traitor)
Britney spent her last hours in the castle trying to turn everyone against Dylan, who was suspicious after Danielle's banishment. He noticed how, on her way out, Danielle said something nice about every remaining player—except Britney—which made him think that Britney had betrayed her. Britney made a strong case against Dylan, but in the end his relationships with Dolores, Ivar, and Gabby were just too strong, and they unanimously voted to banish Britney.
Last words: “Think of me when the wind blows. I hope you freeze!”
Episode 10/11 Banishment: Danielle (Traitor)
Episode 10 ended in a stalemate, with no one player received a majority of the votes at the roundtable, causing a tie between Ivar and Danielle. In a tie, the two players must plead their cases one last time before the remaining players vote. Ivar gave a reasoned argument while Danielle instead chose to beg Dylan for her life, even though he was pretty convinced by Gabby’s argument that Danielle was a Traitor. Dylan and Gabby again voted for Danielle, with Dolores voting for Ivar, and the episode ended before Britney could reveal her vote.
Episode 11 kicked off with Britney's vote, and it was a shocker. In a major twist, Britney voted to banish Danielle because she thought it would be a unanimous vote and she didn't want to look suspicious...
Last words: “I said I was gonna come in this game and play for my family by any means necessary. And, of course, I’m definitely a traitor.”
Episode 9 Banishment: Carolyn (Traitor)
Carolyn and Danielle went at each other at the round table, but in the end, Carolyn was the one banished from the castle. Both had acted suspiciously in the past, but Carolyn’s shaky behavior came later, and therefore, was more at the forefront of the Faithfuls’ minds, so they banished her.
Last words: “I just wanted to have fun. But I have to get real with myself, being a traitor isn’t fun.”
Episode 9 Twist: As the last Traitor remaining, Danielle was asked to recruit a Faithful to her side. The episode ended before the official seduction began, but it looks like she’s following through and recruiting Britney to join her on the dark side...
Episode 8 Banishment: Ciara (Faithful)
Ever since she was saved from the coffins, players have doubted her loyalty. This week, with numbers dwindling and no suspects, Sam turned back around to Ciara, saying he’s never been fully satisfied by her denials. At the round table, Ciara tried to point to Danielle, but the group didn’t want to hear it and ended up voting for Ciara’s banishment.
Last words: "I’ll always go down fighting, and never succumbing to anyone, even the Traitors, because I am…a Faithful."
Episode 7 Banishment: Boston Rob (Traitor)
Boston Rob did his best to try to spin the narrative that he was being framed by the Traitors, but in the end, without support from Carolyn and Danielle, he was voted out. Surprisingly, Tom Sandoval played a major role in his banishment, saying he didn’t believe Boston Rob’s sob story, while Dylan stood by his ally. Could Dylan be next?
Last words: "I am, and always have been from the very beginning, a Traitor."
Episode 6 Banishment: Wes (Faithful)
Wes played an aggressive game in the castle, and it cost him a chance at the prize. While he and Derrick started out strong at the round table with their plan to go after Boston Rob, Rob was ready, having already started rumors about Wes. It was a close vote, but Wes’s defensive attitude, threats, and lack of friendship in the castle pushed him over the edge.
Last words: "“I’m one of the greatest reality competition players of all time. Quantitatively, I’m better than everyone here….You are all chess pieces on a board. And so, to all those people that have died until I got to this circle right here, I have no idea who killed ’em ’cause I’m a faithful. Fuck all you guys.”
Episode 5 Banishment: Nikki (Faithful)
In the saddest banishment of the season so far, Nikki was sent home after failing to beat the allegations she was a Traitor who put herself in a coffin in episode 3. Her stoic affect even had fellow Bambi Chrishell questioning her loyalty, and in the end she was sent home almost unanimously.
Last words: “We are all born different and our personalities are different…so from this point on, don’t judge people [for] who they are or how they are, and don’t have high expectations of [how] you think they should play this game.”
Episode 4 Banishment: Bob the Drag Queen (Traitor)
In a shocking twist, the Traitors—led by Boston Rob—turned on one of their own. After Bob the Drag Queen cast suspicion on the three players who entered late, Boston Rob decided Bob the Drag Queen had to go. He capitalized on Dylan Efron’s growing suspicions at the round table, and even got all of his fellow Traitors to vote out Bob the Drag Queen, too. Once he realized the tides were turning, he swore to God that he wasn’t a Traitor and voted to banish Boston Rob.
Last Words: “All of you know I’ve never lied. I said, “I swear to GOD!” But that was a lie because I don’t believe in God, I’m a Traitor.”*
*Yes, everyone applauded, and, yes, it was pretty great.
Episode 3 Banishment: Tony (Faithful)
Tony was banished by his fellow Faithfuls, even after he volunteered to go first in a challenge, costing him and his partner a shield. Unfortunately, his reluctance to sacrifice for the team made him a suspect, and that—coupled with his ridiculous request that a female player sacrifice herself in the first challenge—left him in the hot seat. Toxic masculinity strikes again! Okay, it was probably Boston Rob’s (a newly minted Traitor) announcement that he had given Tony his shield in the last episode and not received anything in return. Ouch.
Final words: “You’re a sellout, bro.” [@ Boston Rob]
Episode 2 Banishment: Wells (Faithful)
Unfortunately for Bach Nation, the Bachelor in Paradise bartender became the first player voted out on season 3. Wells tried his best to fit in with the group, but in the end, an accusation from Robyn was enough to send him packing, with Carolyn casting the final vote.
Final words: “Playing a smart game isn’t always the smartest.”
