Everyone stop what you're doing. Our favorite romance series has returned and we will officially not be talking about anything else for the rest of the summer. Yes, that's right, The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) season 3 has officially dropped the first two episodes on Prime Video earlier today, and already there's a bunch of Easter eggs we've already spotted.

The long-awaited third season returned with a bang as we were reunited with Belly (Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) as they navigate college following a four year time jump. We also see Steven (Sean Kaufman) navigating his first internship after graduating from Princeton early and carrying on his will-they, won't-they romance with Taylor (Rain Spencer), who is thriving in college. And of course we can't forget Conrad (Christopher Briney) who is on the west coast at Stanford and has just landed his dream job.

But of course this is TSITP and summer doesn't always stay sweet, however, before we focus too much on the drama, there are some major Easter eggs that need to be paid attention to.

Easter eggs have been a pretty common occurrence throughout the first two seasons of the show, with many fans spotting the extra hidden details series creator and writer of the novels the show is based on, Jenny Han has slipped in.

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 Easter eggs

Episode 1 - 'Last Season'

The first episode of the new season starts a year after season 2 and sees Belly's family drop her off at college. Laurel (Jackie Chung) gives Belly a picture to put on her wall and then to show three more years passing the photo wall expands.

And if you look super closely at the photo wall you can see one picture of Belly and Jeremiah dressed up for what is presumably a Halloween party. And their costumes? Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky from To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

As most fans will know, To All The Boys I've Loved Before is one of Jenny Han's other novels, which was turned into a film adaptation by Netflix starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.

Episode 2 - 'Last Christmas'

Prime Video dropped the first two episodes of the new series and as part of episode 2 we see Belly and Conrad back at the beach house in Cousins.

Towards the end of the episode Belly wakes up and heads downstairs to the kitchen where Conrad has left out a note to Belly saying how good it was to see her.

The note is attached to a crossword, where one of the clues is 'Novel by author Jenny Han, P.S. I ____ Love You'. Belly then fills out the clue and adds the word 'still'.

P.S. I Still Love You is the sequel novel To All The Boys I've Loved Before as seen in episode one of the series.

Be sure to check in next week for more Easter eggs.
