It's finally back! After two years away, and a lot of impatient waiting on our part, the third and final (sobs) season of The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres tomorrow (July 16). The first two episodes of the third season will land on Prime Video tomorrow (or, technically, tonight at midnight), and as part of the new episodes we can expect to see a time jump of four years.

Yes that's right, Belly has left high school behind and is heading towards the end of her college experience. Steven and Conrad are already in the world of work, and if the books by Jenny Han the show is based on are anything to go by, we could be hearing wedding bells by the end of the season. Honestly, they grow up so fast.

And with the four-year time jump it also means the cast are a lot closer in age to the characters they play. Intrigued to know more? Here's the main cast's ages versus the characters they play following the four-year time jump.

Belly's age in season 2: 17

Belly's age in season 3: 21

Lola's age: 22

The first season of the show introduced us to Belly when she was just 15 years old. She then celebrates her 16th birthday during that summer in Cousins. Having played a teenager for the first two seasons, this is the first time Lola is getting to play Belly at a similar age to herself.

Christopher Briney as Conrad

Conrad's age in season 2: 19

Conrad's age in season 3: 23

Christopher's age: 27

During that first summer in Cousins, Conrad is preparing to head off to college at Brown and he's 18 years old. A year later he's then in college and attempting to switch colleges and get into Stanford. With the four year time jump this puts him at 23 years old and likely graduated from college. Conrad is played by Christopher Briney who is four years older than the character he plays.
