"As a curvy girl, I love A&F's Curve Love denim, and these barrel jeans are no exception—I have them in both Light and Black and they're my favorite jeans. They make me feel snatched but the legs are also spacious enough so I don't feel hot. Great for a summer jean!" —Veronica Lopez, Sex & Relationships Editor

“I love the pale blue color and linen-blend construction of this dress! It’s chic and office appropriate without being matronly. The sizing was a little too generous through the hips/thighs for me, but I’ve been pairing it with a belt for when I want a little more of a fitted look.” —Samantha Jones, Commerce Editor

“This veggie garden set is so perfect for any summer occasion—you can wear either piece on its own or opt for both for an elevated look. The top has an open back with two adjustable ties, so you can have it fit as tight or loose as you’d like. The skirt also has built-in shorts, which is a major plus for all-day wear. However, I will say that the linen material wrinkled a lot as I wore it.”—Jasmine Hyman, Assistant Shopping Editor

“This dress was super cute for my Memorial Day weekend plans. I got tons of compliments! I love the strapless silhouette and the stretchy denim material. However, this dress definitely runs small, especially in the chest area. I had to return it for a larger size because I couldn’t zip the XS. Even the small required another person to help me zip it all the way up! This dress is not a one person operation. Also, the length is a little odd. I’m 5’7” and ordered the regular length and it hit me just slightly above the ankles. This is much longer than it appears on the model online.

Overall, this dress is sleek and versatile (it looks great with an oxford shirt layered underneath) but due to the sizing and length, its not something I’d reach for all the time.” —Mackenzie Dunn, Senior Commerce Manager

“To me, this is the quintessential summer dress: It's super well-made, easy to style, and shows off my curves without being skintight. I walked around in this dress for hours in 80-degree heat on a trip to the Dominican Republic and during Gov Ball, and it kept me cool and comfy all day. Plus, I can wear it with or without a bra—a win for the larger chest girlies! I actually bought a second one in black to wear on nights out, since it's such a versatile silhouette.” —Lauren Gruber, Associate Commerce Editor

“As a short person (5'3"), it can be very difficult to find jeans that are the right length without tailoring. These jeans land perfectly at my ankle and give my short legs great balance! They're also the perfect summer jeans—they're loose enough for a warm breezy day, and the frayed hem gives them an easygoing touch that can be dressed up or down. I have been wearing these jeans multiple times per week, so if you see me outfit repeating, no you didn't.”—Jayne Lemire, Executive Assistant

"I've owned this shirt for about a month and it's already become one of my summer staples. It was so soft right out of the package, which immediately impressed me since linen can sometimes feel crunchy. It's thick (not see-through!) but it's not heavy.

I threw it on over a plain T-shirt and printed cropped trousers for an office-ready summer neutrals moment. I've also worn it over a swimsuit, tied over my shoulders, and buttoned down with white jeans. The soft fabric makes the sleeves easy to roll.

I ordered a medium because I wanted it to be oversized, but it's definitely a relaxed men's fit, so if you're between sizes, I'd recommend going with the size down—it'll still feel breezy and layerable."—Heath Owens, Deputy Editor, Commerce

Available in a handful of fun prints and classic neutrals, one editor deems this pretty smocked midi a dress that does it all. Even better? It features adjustable straps and pockets for added convenience.

  • Materials: 60% cotton and 40% polyester with 100% cotton lining
  • Sizes: XXS-XXL in petite, regular, and large

Glowing customer review: "The fabric is thicker than expected but in the best way. I don’t have to wear a bra, and it’s not see through at all. It’s not too fluffy either. New favorite for sure!"

"I wore it to my niece's graduation and dressed it down with a jean jacket, but put a blazer on and you've got the perfect date-night outfit. The smocked bodice is extremely comfortable and adjusts to your body type/needs, which makes it easy to wear day to night. The fabric is nice and light, but not see-through—another big plus—so you can easily wear it on hot summer days, too. Overall, I love that I can put this dress on and immediately look put-together and ready for the day. I will definitely be wearing it non-stop this summer.

The only thing I will say about my A&F try-on is that the sizing is a bit off. I am a size 18, so I got an XXL, but while clothes with less stretch probably wouldn't fit me, this dress felt a bit loose. Not every piece will look the same on bigger bodies, so if you're plus size like me, I suggest being strategic with your purchases." —Olivia Truffaut-Wong, Editor
