So...what is considered a long torso?
Fun fact for ya: Tall doesn't always = long torso. You can have a longer torso even if you aren't considered tall, 'cause height has no bearing on your torso length. Longer torsos generally have a lower hip line, and a quick way to determine if you have a long torso is by measuring with your hands. Place one hand at the base of your bust and another right beneath it. If your second hand doesn't reach your waist line, your torso is likely considered long. (FTR, a "balanced torso" is typically about two hand widths long, while a short torso usually spans less than two hand widths.)

How do you measure your torso?
To get an accurate measurement of your torso, you can measure from the base of your neck down to where your spine intersects with the top of your hip bone (aka your iliac crest). Typically speaking, if this measurement is 20 inches or longer, your torso is likely considered long.
