As a Shopping Editor, I Was Genuinely Surprised in How High-Quality Quince Products Are

Why we love it: The subtle pleats totally elevate an otherwise basic pair of pants that'll look supremely chic with any of your go-to work tops.

Don't know what to wear? Throw on these staple pleated trousers. Jeans are uncomfortable; skirts are a pain, but trousers? They never disappoint. These are available in sizes 0 to 16, a variety of inseams, and are complete with an elastic back waist for a little extra comfort. Plus, they're basically wrinkle-resistant, which makes them a game-changer for packing purposes, and you know, when you decide you don't have time to hang or fold them. The usual.

Say hello to the silky slip skirt that's machine washable, drapes beautifully, and can be dressed up or dressed down for whatever occasion you're attending. It's so good that three editors at Cosmo (including myself) own it and constantly talk about it. I'm 5'2", and it's the perfect length on me if I flip the waistband once! (A less lazy person could easily take this to the tailor for a quick hem.)

I'm not one to fall for Big Capsule Wardrobe (maximalism forever baby) but I'll admit that no closet is complete without a good pair of dark-wash jeans. Good jeans can get pricey, though, and as a petite person, multiple inseam options are a non-negotiable. These Quince jeans are an excellent budget-friendly option that'll sit nice and look even nicer.

Attempting to dig through an absolutely stuffed purse with one hand is a (if not the most) cursed feeling. You won't run into that issue with this roomy, slouchy shoulder bag that comes in two gorgeous suede colorways. I've been using it as my work bag, and I've gotten so many compliments. Oh, and it'll match everything in your closet, so the cost per wear is insanely low.

Note that I've also tested out the leather version of this bag, which is currently available in black, and honestly, I really disliked it. It felt cheap, low quality, and didn't sit in the same beautiful way that the suede version did.

It's deceptively hard to find the perfect crewneck sweater. It has to be fitted enough that you can wear it underneath your winter coats, but not too tight to the point where it's uncomfortable. And if you're planning on wearing it with leggings or sweats, a nicer sweater will really pull the look together. All of that on a budget? Not always possible... except for somewhere like Quince!

I cannot tell you how long I have been looking for a cardi with the chunky detailing and oversized fit this one has, so as soon as I got it, this giant, super-cozy cable knit cardigan became a staple in my wardrobe. I love it because even though it's wonderful for winter months (I wore mine in Switzerland during the Christmas markets), it's also great to wear over a bathing suit or on a summer night, thanks to its airy design.

Why we love it: This elegant maxi can be dressed up or down, depending on how you style it. Plus, you can throw it in the washing machine and call it a day!

If you see me wearing this silk-tiered maxi dress way too many times this chilly season with a pair of booties, let's pretend you didn't. This dress is the easiest piece to throw on for when I'm on my way to an event or work and don't know WTF to wear. Enter this tiered silk cutie, and I'm out the door, lookin' like I spent a whole lot longer on my outfit than I actually did.

Why we love it: Not only do these thongs feel like they're barely there, they also stay in place and actually do what they're supposed to do (aka fit like a glove and actually cover all of the necessary bits) without any visible lines.

These are legit the only underwear I wear. I'm not kidding—when I first ordered a set (that comes with six pairs!) because my typical favorite brand was out of stock, I never looked back. I am picky picky when it comes to undies: I don't want to feel like I'm wearing any, the waistline can't dig in, they have to be breathable, and there can't be any panty lines—i.e., very few make the cut. To my disbelief, these checked all the boxes.
