It’s always a good day when we get a Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spotting—especially with the alleged “royal wedding” supposedly happening next month. The pair were seen leaving the iconic Gymkhana restaurant in London, and as a fan of their relationship, I’ll admit I’m always a little giddy seeing them together. But even way before they became one of Hollywood’s favorite couples, I’ve always been clocking what Taylor’s wearing when she’s out and about. And this time, the living icon proved that matcha green is fashion’s favorite color for spring.
In case you missed it, matcha green is everywhere. And honestly, when someone as influential as Taylor Swift embraces a trend, it kind of says everything you need to know! She wore the sweet, pastel green JW Anderson loafer bag with a black corset dress from Zimmermann, layered under a sleek black blazer, and it is such a perfect spring outfit.
I love how she made the bag the main character of the whole look—it’s not just an accessory, it’s the statement. And not in a random way either—the matcha green picks up on the green florals in her dress, creating a balanced look. As much as I’m obsessed with her purse, I also don’t have $2,000 just casually sitting around for a bag. So, I went on a little mission to find a similar style in that same gorgeous matcha shade… but affordable. And guess what? I found one that’s currently 65% off and under $50. Call me the budget queen!
It has that same elevated feel, complete with the sleek rectangular silhouette that mirrors Taylor’s. And, of course, it comes in that irresistibly rich matcha colorway we simply can’t stop obsessing over. Honestly, it looks far more expensive than it actually is, considering it costs less than what I usually pay for dinners out with friends!
I’ve also discovered a few other matcha green bags I’m loving… Shop them here:
