If you are an accessory aficionado (ahem, *raises hand*), what better way to show your love than by accessorizing them? To be more specific, add some charms! Charms are having a huge moment right now, and they are such a delight to add to your bag—and even your shoes. Bag charms are the perfect way to create a unique statement and give some personality to your baguette, crossbody, or tote. There are sooo many possibilities like clip-on Tamagotchis for a Y2K spin, colorful beads for some DIY flair, or initials to keep things polished.

The fashion set can't get enough of these charms as they were spotted everywhere during fashion month recently, decorating designer bags from Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel. Yes, even luxury brands aren't too good for the nostalgic trend, with others like Loewe, Bottega Veneta, and Prada getting in on the keychain game. Of course, you can stock up on charms and keychains that are more wallet-friendly, but just know that there are plenty of options!

Shoes aren't immune to these charms either (I'm so sorry for all these puns). Plenty of decorative pendants, chains, and baubles have been popping up on sneakers and other footwear lately. You can pin them to the fabric, weave them through the laces, or clip them on any opening you see to give your shoes a little jingle as you walk on by. And we can't forget about the classic charm necklace and bracelet having a resurgence. (Kudos if you still have your old Juicy Couture one from middle school. I'm so jealous!) Scroll below for all the charm inspo, whether you want to try just one category or all of them for a head-to-toe look.

Yep, some charms even look like miniature bags themselves. Who would've thought?! Don't be afraid to mix and match different charms for a more eclectic look, but if your style is more streamlined, you can try one out and see how it goes. Odds are you probably won't be able to resist adding more down the road. There are beaded options, mini Tetris games, shells, and so much more to jazz up any purse in your closet.

Safety-pin closures and clasps give you free rein to treat your shoes like a canvas and style them any way you want. If you have bright sneakers, lean into the color story with coordinating charms or contrast them with other hues. Weave them through the laces or pin them to your shoe—or if you're decorating your Crocs, snap those jibbitz into the holes. We listen and we don't judge.
