The White Lotus is back (yay!) and we are thrilled to be checking in for a third season at the seemingly doomed luxury chain resort. The HBO series created by Mike White (of School of Rock fame, in case you didn’t know) follows a mix of complex and *very* unhinged characters staying at the hotel and spa whilst their holiday experiences unravel. This time, the inevitable batsh*t drama is taking place in Thailand on the island of Koh Samui, where the resort has a wellness program that’s the best in the world. Lush.
As with the previous two series, most of the wealthy guests fail to feel refreshed and spend a lot of time having mini meltdowns. But boy, do they look good doing it. It’s Aimee Lou Wood’s character, Chelsea, in particular whose style stands out. As soon as those leopard print sunglasses popped up on screen during the first ep, I was on my phone searching for them. The tonal beachy attire – postbox red bikini, on-trend orange quilted crochet bag and burgundy sarong – looks banging with animal print shades and a tan.
