Ciara is one of the girlies—no bday plans, but wants to take a hot photo to highlight the occasion. The singer and dancer, or what many remember her as—The Princess of Crunk & B—is marking more moments with yet another special achievement in her career. She’s a creative director again and I’m not talking about her clothing line, LITA By Ciara. Nope, the star is taking us back to the early 2000s with a fabulous collaboration with Bebe—yes, the trendy brand that distinguished the early aughts with rhinestone logo tees.

We all know Ciara’s fierce “tomboy” style, and it is infused though 156 items in the new collection, including fabulous one-pieces (hello, leopard), nostalgic heart-shaped bags, cozy sweater dresses, edgy denim, and platforms that’ll take your closet to new heights. Honestly, you need to see these for yourself.

Ciara chatted with Cosmo about the capsule—which ranges from $25 to $299 and is available now online—at her glamorous launch party in NYC last night. Shop the pieces that she’s hype about and then get the scoop about everything else, below!

Are there any Bebe looks in this collection that speak to your albums over the years? Which one represents Goodies? Ciara? The Evolution?

Oh my gosh! Honestly, this whole collection speaks to my projects overall. From Goodies to Evolution, because I'm such a tomboy. But I do like to get dressed up every now and then. So I feel like this collection just kind of embodies all of that energy. I love this chain mill dress I have on. It's pretty fun. These boots are super fun. I was like, I love stacked boots, I love edge. So the full collection embodies me as a whole, like my projects from day one.

What luxury items are you pairing your Bebe outfits with?

My jewelry—my personal jewelry! And, it doesn’t hurt to pop out with an Hermès bag. High-low is a vibe—that’s my jam.

You recently went on tour with Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott, celebrating 20 years of your debut album. What goodies do you need to feel confident? What goodies did you bring on tour to help you get through the stops?

Oh my gosh. You know, I have to say the fans got goodies for me. It was such good energy on the road and every night was like literally like a box of chocolate, as they would say. It was always something different in the air because every city brought its own energy.

I got to bring fans on the stage with me every night. In the beginning, I didn't get to do it because we were trying to get our timing and all that down. But once I got into a rhythm, I brought my fans on the stage and that was really intriguing for me.

What was your favorite moment of the tour? Your absolute sweetest?

My moments with the fans were definitely my favorite. Then, having my babies on the road with me was an incredible treat for me and for them. My daughter, Sienna, really understands Mommy's world even more. Her especially, because obviously she's my big girl. And so she's doing the dance moves and everything, singing all the songs. Now she has a playlist. It's the cutest thing.

What was the marked moment in your life where you felt most confident?

I think when I turned 30! When I turned 30—that was a very significant year for me. When you're younger and you hear the age 30, it's kind of scary because it sounds old, but I heard so many women tell me that at 30 they felt their most confident and I understood what they said when I got to 30, because I kind of lived a little life at that point. 30 was a very big year for me.

That’s perfect because one, I’m turning 30! Also, my birthday is the day after yours.

Ooooh! Oh my gosh, scorpio!

Happy early birthday, October babies! What are your birthday plans? What confidence-boosting advice do you have for women who can’t believe they’re really adults now?

First of all, I don't know what I'm doing for my birthday, but I do know I want to take a hot photo...I feel that the older I get, I'm like—I really need to document the moments, you know, and just embrace every stage.

Don't put pressure on yourself as best as you can, because, okay, getting older is a real thing. For me, the older I get, the younger I feel. I'm sure there's going to be a time when I get older and I feel like I'm getting older, but I think wisdom has served me so well and has fed my soul so well.

I just want to encourage every girl to embrace every stage and it's not perfect. You don't get it right all the time. But that's the beauty of life. We learn from all aspects that we go through.
