After her wildly successful Short n' Sweet tour, Sabrina Carpenter is back on the road with a second leg of the Short n' Sweet Tour: It's Even Sweeter! This time, she'll be stopping in five major North American cities (Pittsburgh, New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles) with 12 dates lined up from October to November.

While Sabrina celebrates the success of Short n' Sweet on tour (an album which, by the way, earned Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammys and Album of the Year at the MTV Music Awards!), the setlist for this second leg also includes three hits from her seventh studio album Man's Best Friend: "Manchild," "House Tour," and "Tears." If her incredible performance at the VMAs is any indication of what the 2025 version of the tour will entail, we might splurge on multiple nights (just imagine belting out "Manchild" in an arena!).

As if answering our prayers, her team previously posted an official mood board for Short n' Sweet Tour outfits during the first leg. The vibe? Pastel colors, platform shoes, babydoll dresses, sparkles, and heart and kiss motifs.

But IMHO, this is just a starting point! I combined this list with more themes from the album and era, Miss Carpenter's recent looks (shoutout to @styleforsabby on Instagram), some Amazon finds bc I know you're shopping for your tour look last-minute, and last but certainly not least, ideas for doing your "makeup so nice," courtesy of Cosmo beauty editor Beth Gilette.

Read on for Short n' Sweet Tour outfit ideas, and if all else fails, just buy this Jesus Was A Carpenter T-shirt.

One prob: I don't have tix!

Ok, so here's deal. Demand for the second leg of the Short n' Sweet Tour tickets has only gone up since the initial on-sale date in early March... Not great news, considering the entire tour sold out again. It’s slim pickins (heh) for most major cities (even with additional dates), and you're going to have to shell out annoying resale prices.

Note: If you are mentally prepared to splurge (it will be the night of your life, after all!!!) StubHub is your best bet. ICYMI, StubHub's resale processing fee (10%) is slightly lower than Ticketmaster's (12.5%), which can def make a difference when you're buying multiple $100+ tix! Here are a some of the resale prices I'm seeing on StubHub at the time of publish:

Carpenter hosted the Studio 54-inspired VMA's Afterparty with Amazon Music, and she wore Cher's Bob Mackie dress from 1975. We searched high and low for dupes or anything remotely similar to the iconic mirror work and fringe dress, but alas, it's truly one-of-a-kind. Instead, we're going off of vibes; shop 70's disco outfits that transport you to Studio 54.

Get inspired by her latest fringe-heavy looks with a hot pink tassel number that delivers all the movement and drama. Or, take inspiration from Carpenter's latest fringe looks, including her long black fringe dress from her Grand Ole Opry debut or her monologue blue/green fringe look from Saturday Night Live.

Is it that sweet? I guess so, when I wear head-to-toe ~espresso~ brown. The catchy song makes for the perfect fall mood board, especially when you can raid your closet for an undeniably on-theme look for the Short N’ Sweet Tour.

The key to building a successful monochrome brown look? Texture. Think: mix-and-match suede, leather, knits, mesh, canvas, and silk fabrics. And while we're partial to a rich chocolatey hue, don't be afraid to layer it with different shades of brown like camel, tan, khaki, maroon, or even plaid to create depth.

Sabrina, certified arbiter of the coquette aesthetic, has made babydoll dresses and platform heels so much her signature silhouette that you may not even immediately notice it. But after one scroll through her recent performance looks (Coachella! Gov Ball! Outside Lands!), you'll notice a theme. Take this opportunity to lean into all things frilly, dainty, lacy, and romantic, and please please please top it with a bow.

The official tour moodboard made it clear that pastel colors are the way to go when leaning this direction. Reach for light pink, baby blue, and butter yellow. And to take your look to new heights, consider Sabrina's signature platform shoes. Bonus points if it's a pair she's actually worn, like the Versace Medusa or Marc Jacobs Kiki (obvs expensive, but you'll have them forever!).

Sabrina loves a reference (*see next section*), and her personal style through this era has pulled a little something from every corner of the retro universe. Whether a specific moment in pop culture history—i.e. Madonna at the VMAs—or a callback to an iconic style decade—her '70s curtain bangs or '50s-style swimwear from the "Espresso" music video—these looks are A) easy to recreate and B) so wearable for repeated use after your tour date has come and gone.

Honorable mention for this romper that's practically identical to the tube dress Sabrina wears in the "Espresso" single artwork, but with built-in shorts for comfortable dancing alllll night long. Also, these $27 gogo boots on Amazon with over 10,000 reviews.

Carpenter's use of classic horror references in her music videos never ceases to amaze us. "Taste" guest starring Jenna Ortega was campy, comedic, and just cinematic perfection. But, her Rocky Horror-themed music video for "Tears" featuring Colman Domingo is what takes the cake for the over-the-top gothic glam inspo, just in time for spooky szn.

Go the vintage route with Carpenter's iconic silver fringe dance break number, which happens to be an archival Victoria's Secret lingerie set initially modeled by Naomi Campbell, or her 70's pale blue suit set. If you really want to embrace the essence of the music video, go all out with the drag and camp. We're personally obsessed with Domingo's pinstripe suit set with red fishnet and his red corset bodysuit paired with a black leather trench.

If you happened to be attending the Oct. 31 NYC show, her team also posted costume inpso for Halloween night at Madison Square Garden. You'll notice a few looks from the "Tears" music video, Western wear and daisy dukes, and her other iconic looks from the tour, like her hot pink cape.

Sabrina is always serving face (and singing about it, too). So I consulted with Beth Gillette, beauty editor, on how to create the perfect makeup look to complete your Short n' Sweet fantasy.

"Humblebrag, but I will be in attendance for the tour and absolutely will be going for a ~sexy~, glam goth vibe á la the "Taste" music video," she said. "Makeup By Mario's Master Mattes Neutrals palette is the perfect choice for a cool-toned, gray smokey eye, IMO. Just place the deep gray shade on your top and bottom lashline and your outer corner, then blend out the edges, and finish with a few coats of waterproof mascara (bc, yes, I will absolutely be crying to "Dumb and Poetic," it's a rite of passage)."

Here are some more of Beth's tips:

  • Eyes: A sparkly, light-blue, Y2k-inspired shadow is the perfect way to bring all of the Short N' Sweet vibes together. I'm a big fan of this crayon from Half Magic—it's extremely sparkly (if being seen in the crowd is your kinda thing) and blends out easily with a brush or fingers. Smudge it all over your lids, or if you want a more subtle look, try one of Sabrina's go-to looks and just place it in your inner corner with a winged liner moment using the ultra-waterproof Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner.
  • Face: The star of any Sabrina Carpenter makeup look should be a pink blush that beams with the power of a thousand shimmering suns. Insider secret: Her makeup artist often uses Armani Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer Highlighter to add that sheen without any OTT chunky glitters.
  • Lips: You absolutely need a chocolate-brown lip moment to match. But you're not gonna have time to reapply your lipstick while you're singing your lil heart out, so try the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil Extreme Waterproof Lip Liner instead of a lipstick. They legit don't budge or transfer (sry, no kiss tattoos with this one), even when you top it with a gloss or lip balm, like the Prada Beauty one 'Brina used in the "Please, Please, Please" music video.
