“I would describe my Killstar collection as a reflection of my style and the things I love,” Avril tells Cosmopolitan. “I am so proud of this collection and I’ve had so much fun working with the Killstar team to bring this to life. I hope everyone enjoys it and makes it their own.”
As for her fave items from the launch, the singer says, “The Tomb travel suitcase, the Ribcage Maxi Dress, and the Strummin lingerie set are all incredible.”

It’s been a busy few months for Avril. In addition to launching the Killstar collection, she’s also been on tour with Machine Gun Kelly, and in June, she celebrated the 20th anniversary of her first album, Let Go.
“My music and fashion has changed a bit since I released Let Go,” she says. “Looking back on that album, I’m still incredibly proud and thankful for all the amazing things it’s done for my life and career. In terms of how I’ve evolved, I still write what I feel in that moment. Sonically, it can vary, but the process hasn’t changed that much. The only difference is I was writing from the perspective of a teenager, and now I’m writing from the perspective of a woman.”
