Dr. Lal also notes that wearing SPF on your lips can help keep them looking plump and youthful. He says that over time, sun damage can cause your lips to have a sunken-in look. "The skin of the lips becomes thin and scaly, and that can be hard to fix. A lot of people come in for lip filler, but putting lip filler in a thin sunken lip doesn’t help.
