The “Nonsense” singer’s hair has been the source of so many TikTok tutorials. And up until now we’ve all been kinda throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks while attempting to recreate her signature style. But those days are long gone because ahead of her appearance at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, her hairstylist shared a tutorial including the exact products used to create her ‘90s bombshell blowout. And guys, this blow-dry brush will have you looking red carpet-ready in minutes—and yep, it’s available at Nordstrom.
I’m feeling extra grateful rn because in addition to Sabrina attending the party alongside Barry Keoghan (I ship it, just saying!), the night threw me another gift by revealing one of her ultimate hair secrets. And it’s one I plan on using again and again. On his Instagram, celebrity hairstylist Scott King revealed that he used the Mermade interchangeable blow dry brush to give Sabrina a voluminous blowout which he noted was inspired by the one and only Claudia Schiffer.
The Mermade tool itself comes with three different attachments that can be used to dry, smooth, and style. I love a 3-in-1 tool that does it all! “First I blew out Sabrina’s hair with the interchangeable blow-dryer using the larger brush attachment,” Scott explained on his Instagram. After he made sure all of her hair was dry, he went through with the curling attachment, making sure to create loose curls throughout, before setting the strands with a pair of Velcro rollers. (Though the exact ones he used are currently sold out, I found these super affordable ones on Amazon that will work the same.)
After the curls had been set with the rollers to achieve maximum bounciness and volume for 20 minutes, Scott took the hair down and brushed through the hair with the brand’s Everyday Brush. He then put the finishing touches by styling the ends with a curling iron. And voilà!!! Sabrina Carpenter’s hair is yours for the taking.
