Buckle up, because this week’s episode of Cosmo Queens is: Fierce. Chic. Fashun. Beverly Luxe’s floral look is nothing short of absolutely fabulous. And peep the flowers!! Y’all already know we love us some red roses (hi @ the Bachelor).
Before she fully dives into her lewk, she starts by gluing down her eyebrows—a classic drag makeup move. Because guess what? IYKYK—Beverly will legit morph her eyebrows into something completely new. What is this beautiful sorcery? Why am I not doing this to my brows already??!
Hellooo! You know we are always here for a good contour. And Beverly does not disappoint in that area whatsoever. She’s out here carving and snatching like, Yes, girl, you sculpt those cheekbones! And what are all these different kinds of brushes she’s using? I’m taking notes and I obviously need to revamp my cosmetics collection ASAP. She even takes the time to use a fine brush to contour her nose like she’s freaking Leonardo da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa.
We’ve finally arrived at the eyes stage of this working masterpiece and she whips out a palette with just about every color you can ever imagine. And like the professional makeup queen she is, Bev goes in with bright-orange and red shadows because there’s nothing like a bright, sunny eye. TBH, it’s kind of like if golden hour happened on her eyelids. She complements the rouge tones with a little bit of white to add even more boldness to her eyes and then she SLAYS that cat eye. Yes, duh, matching wings and all.
She chooses, again, a rouge tone for le lips, aka the perfect complement to her eyeshadow. And how could she forget a good highlight and some trusty falsies?! Just the essentials, really.
Wait. OMG, hold up. Did she just…duct-tape her head? Real talk: Do I need to start duct-taping my head?! Whatever she did, I’m not mad about it because that wig looks FLAWLESS. Beverly, you’re a star and my new glam inspo.
