Ever wonder if the Barbie dolls we’ve cherished and loved since we were wee little cherubs would just one day...get a total makeover? Like, hm, one where she perhaps has a totally beat face and is bald?! Well, it’s happened, folks. Er, well, sort of, at least. May we present to you: Barbie’s Addiction—the hottest and most fabulous Barbie your pupils will ever witness. Oh, and fair warning, you will be copying her makeup lewk every day this year.
She begins the transformation by gracefully dabbing on foundation—with a beauty sponge, of course—on the outer areas of her face. Next, she fills in the empty areas (her T-zone, under eyes, and chin) with concealer and blends it in with that same sponge to brighten up her canvas. And of course, she sets with powder directly after because who wants a sticky face?! Mmm, yeah, no one at all. Still working with powders, she starts bronzing her face with eyeshadows. Yes. You read correctly—purple and pink eyeshadows to contour her cheekbones!! I. Am. Quaking!!!
To make sure the snatch is secured, she bakes underneath her contour so it stays sharp for hours. Also, once you start snatching, you just gotta keep on going, and our queen Barbie’s Addiction fully repped that by ever so beautifully contouring her nose and brow bone. From there, she moved to drawing and carving out her brows, which, may I point out, look more real than my actual ones. Teach me your ways, sis. 😩
And now, for the best part: the eyes! Barbie’s Addiction lays down a white base before she starts putting on her first color: periwinkle. Right above that, she transitions to a bright-pink shadow that she applies right above it. She blends, blends, blends and doesn’t forget to highlight that brow bone! She then puts on mascara BEFORE she applies her winged liquid eyeliner...anyone else having a minor panic attack too?! But obviously, she does it seamlessly and perfectly because why wouldn’t she?
Her final touches consist of glueing on her falsies, doing the same eyeshadow look she did on her top lids to her bottom ones, and painting on her posh pink lip. AH, aaand her precious bb *Sharpie* beauty mark. Can never, ever forget the beauty mark.
