Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are officially married! Before they had their fairytale wedding in California over the weekend, the couple sent stunning invitations to their star-studded guest list, which included Sel‘s longtime bestie and “flower girl,” Taylor Swift.
The designer behind the newlyweds’ invitations, Invitaciones MG, shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the cards on her Instagram profile. The invitations featured an elegant cream-and-gold color scheme, along with a wax emblem and mini baby’s breath details to match.
“We want to thank Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco for choosing us for such an important event. We are proud that they considered us to join them in this common good,” the post’s caption reads, in part. “We wish them all the best in life as they embark on this new stage. We know things will go even better for the wonderful people they are.”
The invitations—which were posted a day after the nuptials—also revealed the exact location of the ceremony, which took place at the Sea Crest Nursery, a 70-acre private estate just north of Santa Barbara.
In a separate social media post, the designer posed for a photo with the I Said I Love You First...But You Said It First artists.
According to the Daily Mail, Sel and Benny invited 170 guests to the ceremony, including Taylor Swift, Martin Short, Steve Martin, Paul Rudd, and Zoë Saldaña. Other celebs in attendance included Paris Hilton, Camila Cabello, Cara Delevingne, SZA, Eric André, Mark Ronson, and Ed Sheeran.
It was also reported that Selena spent upwards of $300,000 on security to ensure the ceremony’s safety and privacy.
People insiders also revealed the general vibes of their wedding and reception, telling the outlet, “There was so much love in the room. At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun.”
The source, who is reportedly close to the couple, also said they were “glowing all night” and “couldn’t stop smiling” after the ceremony, which “moved guests to tears.”
“The ceremony moved guests to tears. They wrote their own vows, which were both funny and sentimental,” they added.
Guess our gorgeous invite got lost in the mail...but we’re sending congrats to the happy couple regardless!
