• Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco reportedly signed a "watertight prenup" ahead of their wedding.
  • The prenup "wasn't optional" for Selena, and Benny was completely on board.
  • Reminder: Selena has a net worth of $1 billion.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are officially married and couldn't be cuter or more in love. But, if you're a pragmatist, you might be wondering whether or not these two have a prenup. The answer? Duh (reportedly).

Selena Gomez is a literal billionaire thanks, in part, to the monumental success of Rare Beauty, and meanwhile Benny Blanco is one of the most successful producers in the industry. Soooo, a prenuptial agreement goes without saying.

Rob Shuter of ShuterScoop reports that the couple have a "watertight prenup" which Sel understandably wanted to protect her "billion dollar empire" (which—aside from Rare Beauty—includes her music catalog + some pretty impressive real estate).

"This wasn’t optional. Selena built everything from the ground up. The prenup was about respect, not suspicion," one source explained, while another added that Benny was completely aligned, noting, "He was fully on board. He loves her, and he respects what she’s achieved. There was zero drama."

Makes total sense that they'd both want to protect their assets, and as another insider put it, "In celebrity marriages of this scale, love and law have to coexist."

FYI, Benny Blanco has a net worth of $50 million, while—once again—Sel has a net worth of $1 billion. More on their $$$ below!
