• Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson is no longer allowed to use her "Duchess of York" title amid Prince Andrew giving up "Duke of York."
  • Fergie is allegedly "furious" and "livid" over the loss of the title.
  • Andrew's ex still lives with him in the Royal Lodge, and is "plotting her escape."

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are still going by "The York Sisters" amid Prince Andrew giving up his "Duke of York" title, but their mom, Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson, is fresh out of luck.

Fergie—who was just dropped by multiple charities over calling convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein a "supreme friend" in an email—will no longer be allowed to use "Duchess of York," and she's "furious."

Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop reports that Fergie is "livid" over the loss of her title, with a source saying, "She’s furious. That title was her identity. Losing it feels like a death."

Another source says, "Sarah would leave if she could afford to. She’s stuck. Royal Lodge belongs to Andrew—not her. Without him, she’d have no home or lifestyle." Oh, and yet another insider adds, "Publicly, she’s standing by Andrew. Privately, she’s furious — and plotting her escape."

Prince Andrew announced that he'd be giving up the title in the below statement on October 17:

In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.

With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.
