- Insiders at Buckingham Palace say King Charles is "seriously unwell" amid his cancer battle.
- A royal aide says His Majesty will "keep going as long as he can" and is determine to be of service to his country.
- Prince William is taking on increased royal duties behind the scenes.
King Charles has been quietly battling cancer while also fulfilling his duties as King, and apparently there's concern over his health in Buckingham Palace.
Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop reports spoke to a source who says the monarch is "seriously unwell but determined to carry on," while an aide adds, "He’s exhausted, but he won’t stop. Every morning he insists on reading his red boxes. He believes his service to the country is his calling—and he’ll keep going as long as he can."
Meanwhile, Prince William is taking on increased duties behind the scenes. This comes amid sources previously telling #ShuterScoop that the Palace is "quietly preparing William to step up—fast," as "the illusion of perfect health is collapsing."
Obviously this should all be taken with a grain of salt—especially since Prince William was directly asked about his dad's health by Eugene Levy on The Reluctant Traveler, and said "Everything is progressing in the right way, which is all good news."
