The royals put on their fanciest tiaras and decorative sashes for an official French state visit with President Macron yesterday, and naturally a lip reader was on standby. Annnnd they happened to catch Prince William straight-up bragging about his height, much like every man on Raya.
The Macrons were greeted by King Charles and Queen Camilla in Windsor, and according to The Sun's lip reader Nicola Hickling, President Macron made some small talk about William's height, saying to King Charles, "He is incredibly tall." King Charles went ahead and replied, "He is very tall. He’s six foot one, he is, ever so," and then Prince William popped into the conversation to correct everyone and say "Actually, I’m six foot three."
Glad he was able to clear that up!
Anyway, if extremely fancy royal events are your thing, yesterday's was truly one for the books. Not only did Kate Middleton wear Dior for the very first time to greet the Macrons (specifically, the 30 Montaigne Rose Des Vents Bar Jacket from Dior's 2024 collection, which she paired with Princess Diana's earrings)...
She changed into a caped red gown by Sarah Burton for Givenchy, and paired the look with Princess Diana's favorite Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara—not to mention some sparkling diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet, and her royal sash. Meanwhile, Prince William, man who wants everyone to know he's six foot three, wore a tux, a blue sash, and several badges.
A moment!
