- Prince Andrew will only move out of the Royal Lodge if he gets *two* homes in return.
- Andrew has his eye on Frogmore Cottage for himself and Adelaide Cottage for Sarah Ferguson.
- Frogmore Cottage is the former home of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, while Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to move out of Adelaide Cottage.
King Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and pretty much everyone else are desperate for disgraced royal Prince Andrew to leave the giant mansion he's been occupying (aka the Royal Lodge) and apparently he's ready to negotiate. The thing is, Andrew will only break his iron clad lease if he has *two* new homes handed over to him.
According to The Sun, Andrew has "demanded" Frogmore Cottage, aka the former home of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Meanwhile, he wants his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (who currently lives with him at the Royal Lodge) to be given Adelaide Cottage—the home that Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to move out of.
"No one is really sure how it’s going to go down at the Palace yet," a source tells The Sun. "Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands. He is realistic and knows the writing is on the wall and that his time at Royal Lodge is up. If he must go then he has asked for Frogmore Cottage. Incredibly Sarah has said she wants Adelaide Cottage. Sarah and Andy have lived together at Royal Lodge since 2008 despite being divorced and seen like they are still a married couple. It’s incredible that they are willing to go their own separate ways. But it indicates that they have been under immense strain this year and need a break from one another. It’s a fresh start for both."
The source adds, "Frogmore Cottage is too small for both and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want. Both have space for their daughters Eugenie and Beatrice and their families to visit."
TBD on if the King and Prince William approve of this plan but...it's pretty wild.
