Wait, did you think we’d be slowing down Cosmo’s 60th Anniversary celebrations in September? We know Virgo season is in full swing but, as any Leo would, we’re keeping the party going just a little bit longer. We’ve had the best time digging through Cosmo covers of years past (did you catch Taylor Swift dishing on her dream wedding in our December 2012 issue?) and, of course, raising glasses of Cosmopolitan cocktails with our friends whenever possible.
Our lovely, pink namesake drink got us thinking: What if we could enjoy this cranberry lime goodness…as a snack? Well, we worked with PopUp Bagels to create a Cosmopolitan Cranberry Lime Butter (alcohol not included) and you can get your hands on it this week.
Turning 60 is iconic and, at this point, so is PopUp Bagels. Whether you’re in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Florida, I know you’ve seen (and probably waited on) the lines wrapped around the block on any given weekend morning. I mean, who else is doing bagels fresh out of the oven right now? Bagels that are soft enough to be ripped and dipped into your spread-of-choice on your walk home from the bakery? They’re the perfect vessel for the Cosmopolitan butter, whose flavor profile is a perfect balance between the sweetness of the dried cranberries and cranberry juice and the subtle tartness of the lime zest.
Our butter (or schmear, if you’re serious about your bagels) will be available in all PopUp Bagels locations for just one week, starting this Friday September 12th (add it to your cal!). Plus, if you haven’t gotten your hands on one already, you’ll get a free copy of our Fall 2025 Issue with your Cosmo Butter while supplies last. If you need me, I’ll be eating Cosmo (butter) for breakfast, reading Cosmo (dot com) at lunch, and drinking Cosmo (cocktails) with dinner.
