In case you're not aware, Kate Middleton's sister Pippa Middleton is casually married to former professional racing driver James Matthews, so yes: they are obsessed with F1. To the point where these two travel around the world to watch races, and Pippa even skipped her sister's annual Together at Christmas concert (for the first time!) to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Annnnd this is where things turn awkward. Pippa and James were spotted chatting with some friends by Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz, who went up to the group to try to get their opinion on the race. And not only did Ted completely ignore Pippa during his narration of the scene (direct quote: "James Matthews from the Williams team, I don't know whether he has a view on Max, Lando or Oscar. Rebecca Donaldson, Carlos Sainz's other half...."), their group straight up rejected him.
The entire incident was caught on camera, and you can see Pippa and James fully ignore Ted and then walk away, at which point Ted says "I can't hear anything or any names here, okay, that's fine."
Nothing like some second-hand embarrassment to kick off your morning!
Anyway, Pippa largely stays out of the public eye (she's almost never seen) so chances of her commenting on this moment are basically zero. But, ya know, stay tuned!
