It's official: Love Island USA stars Iris Kendall and Jose "Pepe" Garcia-Gonzalez have broken up—news Pepe revealed during a conversation with TMZ paps.
"We're not together anymore," Pepe confirmed, adding "and that's the way it goes."
"It's a tough thing when there's a lot of eyes on you 24/7," he said. "It's stressful. Being in the limelight isn't always the best thing in the world."
Pepe also completely denied cheating rumors, saying he's paying "no mind" to online "hate" and adding "I don't care what people think, I care what my friends and family think [...] Right now it's focusing on the present, focusing on the next steps, next opportunities and the next things that I wanna do for fun."
Reminder: fans started speculating about Pepe and Iris' relationship status over the weekend when Iris unfollowed him amid cheating rumors.
Iris then jumped onto her Instagram Stories with a photo of a sunset, which she soundtracked with Fleetwood Mac's "Silver Springs." Definitely a choice due to the lyrics "Time cast a spell on you, but you won't forget me / I know I could've loved you, but you would not let me / I'll follow you down 'til the sound of my voice will haunt you / You'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you."
Unclear when these two broke up, but they were together during the Love Island USA reunion and Pepe posted this on August 15, so seems like it's pretty fresh:
