The latest celebrity couple on the chopping block is Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The Aussie power couple got married in 2006, and according to a September 29 report from TMZ, they broke up and have “been living apart” since the beginning of summer.
A source close to the couple told TMZ that Nicole has been watching their two kids, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret Urban, and “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
As for the reason behind their reported split, the outlet notes that it’s “one-sided.” A separate source confirmed the news to People, saying, “She didn’t want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
They continued, “Nicole’s sister has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.”
The pair—who’s known for their love of PDA on the red carpet—recently celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in June, with the Babygirl actor celebrating on Instagram. “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban,” she captioned the black and white photo, which sees her leaning on his shoulder.
She also gushed about the country crooner and their family with People in April, saying, “I’m so lucky that I have Keith, who’s just my love, my deep, deep love. That gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back to.”
Neither Nicole nor Keith has confirmed the split at this time, but we still can’t help but wonder…is love even real anymore?
