The 63rd annual New York Film Festival just closed, with tons of already-iconic films (like Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On, Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother, and Luca Gudangnino’s After the Hunt) making their Manhattan debut. There was even a surprise “secret screening” of Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme midway through the fest—but the films weren’t the only thing generating chatter.
