Calling all Jack Whitehall and thriller lovers—you're in for a treat. While the 37-year-old actor is known for his comedic roles, from Fresh Meat to Bad Education, to his hysterical travel docuseries with his father, Michael, Jack has now taken a completely different artistic turn.

He'll star in Malice, a brand new psychological thriller for Amazon Prime Video, in a leading role. With themes of revenge, greed, and vengeance—all set behind a stunning Greek backdrop on the island of Paros—the show has all the ingredients to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Hate to break it to you, but there's currently no release date for Malice. However, we do know filming for the six-episode series finished in July 2024, so it can't be too long. It's thought the show will drop sometime later in 2025 on Amazon Prime Video.

The official synopsis reads: "Set in London and Greece, Malice is full of dark family secrets, manipulation, and betrayal, asking the question: why does Adam despise Jamie Tanner so much?"

But let's backtrack: who is Adam and who is Jamie? Jack Whitehall plays Adam Healey, a charming yet vengeful "manny" who infiltrates the ultra-wealthy Tanner family in a bid to destroy them.

Jamie is the patriarch of the Tanner family, and clearly, Adam's main target.

The six episodes center around Adam and the Tanners' holiday in Paros. While on the surface everything seems normal, Adam is actually plotting the ultimate takedown.

Last year, Jack opened up about the project, revealing in a statement that it was the most "amazing experience." He said: "What an incredible 18 weeks it's been—from shooting in London in February to ending in 37-degree heat in Paros, the whole shoot has been an amazing experience and I couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved."

Jack also gushed about how lucky he feels to have been able to work with so many "insanely talented" people.

"I can't wait for you to see the end result when it launches worldwide next year on Prime Video!"
