Looks like the casting process has officially begun for Love Island USA! And if you want to apply, prepare to carve a big chunk of time out of your schedule because the application is loooong.
Aside from details like name, date of birth, Instagram, etc, applicants can expect to answer questions like:
- Do you have or have you had content on subscription sites such as OnlyFans, Fansly, Patreon, or similar? Ever made an appearance on an Adult Film site or exclusive content site?
- When was your last relationship? How long were you together and why did you break up?
- Have you ever been in love? Do you fall in love easily?
- What is the boldest thing you've ever done to get someone's attention?
- Who is your celebrity crush and why?
- What is the most difficult thing you have ever been through?
The application also reveals the show's filming date thanks to the question "Do you have any conflicts that cannot be postponed or canceled between mid-May to late July 2026?"
FYI, there are reports that the casting process will be pretty different this season due to multiple people leaving season 7 over racism.
Per a show insider who spoke to The Sun, "Starting next season, we are going to get some people working on looking way more into the social media presence and the articles, pictures and public things that potential contestants did before trying to get onto the show. We are going to hire more people to dig into people’s past and things they did in public and really brush out their social media and old posts to see if anything controversial came out of there."
They added, "We will be really digging way more and deeply in each participants past, and make sure that their 'records' are clean of racist, xenophobic or sexist words or behavior. If there is anything racist, sexist or offensive in there, the person won’t be allowed to be considered as a potential participant on the show. We can’t have any more situations where we deal with racist behavior."
