Rachael Kirkconnell Told Us the Galentine's Day Goodies She's Got on Deck for Her "Support System"

I don't need to tell you this, but I will: Rachael Kirkconnell is a girl's girl. And in the wake of her v public split from her boyfriend of four years, Matt James, in January, she's been leaning on her ladies more than ever. (Don't worry, she's thriving, we talked to her last week.) That's why she's extra excited about Galentine's Day this year: "I just think it's a great excuse to celebrate the female relationships in your life, whether that's your mom, your sister, or your best friend," she says. "And my support system, with all the women in my life, it’s never faded. They’ve been with me through everything, all the highs and lows."
This year, Rachael is going to Vegas with a few girlfriends to celebrate the love holiday—iconic, I know—but her typical Galentine's celebration would be a cozy night in complete with "good cocktails, fun snacks, a cute craft, and hanging out," she says. "I also love to do a little White Elephant and have my friends pick a few gifts." Because who doesn't love to spoil their day-ones, amirite?!

"I have so many cocktail books at my house," says Rachael, explaining that an ideal girls' night in isn't complete without a cute beverage in hand. "I'm actually such a stuffed animal lover. It's so stupid. I never got rid of that from when I was little," admits Rachael. Who wouldn't wanna snuggle up with this soft pink bunny through the winter months?
