Although I love (almost) everything about living in New York City, I can't deny that I look forward to indulging in a Target run whenever I head back to my suburban hometown. I mean, who doesn't love grabbing a coffee and strolling the aisles, collecting new clothes, kitchen gadgets, and most importantly, some of the cutest home decor around?

Whether you live in a small apartment or the least spacious bedroom in a rental you share with your besties, it can be hard to find pieces that are both cute and functional. That's where Target comes in. As a shopping editor, I know Target's home selection like the back of my hand, and am bringing you the best of the best pieces to add to your cart ASAP.

We're talking WFH essentials—my current desk's days are numbered after spotting this under-$100 option!—bedding and storage solutions that'll make your teeny room feel brand new, and easy decor upgrades for the home refresh you've been craving. Not only are all of these completely renter-friendly (Hellloooo, peel-and-stick wallpaper!), but they're extremely wallet-friendly as well, starting at just $3. Nope, that's not a typo, Target's just that good at the home decor game.

This is the year that you *finally* make good on that New Year's resolution to print out cute pics of you and your besties that have been living on your phone. Add 'em to this wavy frame, which looks so much more luxe than its $3 price tag thanks to its chic black and white contrast. And if you wanna go bigger, there's also an 11-by-14-inch version for just $5 (!).

Never have I ever met a throw blanket that I didn't love, especially when it comes in cheetah print! This throw's neutral color palette makes it an easy match to your existing decor, while its feathery knit material ensures it'll become your go-to for movie nights, reading sessions, and cozy WFH days.

Whether you snag this lil lamp in a serene blue or a pretty pink, it'll add a welcome hint of warmth to your bedroom, entryway, or side table. The curved stand and pleated shade lend a fun pop that helps this teeny lamp stand out from the rest.

Kiss your basic throw pillows goodbye! These knotted beauties add texture to your sofa set-up. Not only are they super soft, but they're available in four colors and are so on-trend right now. If you're into this knot design, Target also has matching knot candles RN.

If you live in a small space, then you know how hard it is to find storage solutions that are equal parts pretty and functional. This soft boucle bench absolutely does the job: Not only can it store everything from out-of-season clothes to board games, it also doubles as seating for impromptu Bachelor viewing parties.

If you have the complete opposite of a green thumb (aka, you're me), then your space might be in need of some greenery. Opt for a faux plant that you can't kill—promise! At just $5, you'll 100% be tempted to add more than one to your cart.

You've prob seen candle warming lamps all over TikTok. If you haven't yet hit "Add to cart," scoop up this minimalist option from Target. The frosted glass, white base, and gold rod look chic and sophisticated. Now all you need is a delish-smelling candle or two!

Give guests the warm welcome they deserve (and a place to wipe their feet) with this cheeky welcome mat. It can be used both inside and out, and it shouldn't move from its spot thanks to its sturdy latex backing.

Channel that luxe hotel bathroom feel with this tortoise tray to hold all of your countertop essentials. Not only can it store makeup tools or perfume, but the edges are raised, so it can even be used as perhaps the fanciest soap dish I've ever seen. I don't blame you if you end up scooping up the rest of the matching accessories, including this jar and soap bottle.

Remember our earlier convo about leveling up candles? Behold, this futuristic taper candle holder. With a metallic finish and a unique loop design, it's bound to be a conversation starter, especially when it becomes the star of your chilling-at-home IG stories.

One of my personal favorite Target home decor hacks? Shopping the kid's section! Case in point: If I hadn't scoped out the Pillowfort line, I would have never found this gold metallic floating shelf, perfect for displaying frames and meaningful mementos. YW!

While crisp white bedding gives your room that hotel-quality feel, sometimes, it's just a little too boring. Get the best of both worlds with a textured quilt that's easy to layer with throw blankets and bold pillows.

Your outfit pics just got a whole lot cuter! A good mirror is not only functional for checking out your 'fit before you head out the door, but it makes any room look so much bigger. Although this option comes with a matching gold stand, it can also be hung on the wall to save space.

Not to put myself on blast here, but I have a horrible habit of leaving my small belongings on virtually every surface. The only way I've been able to kick this curse is by adding tons of tiny trays to my apartment for everything from my keys to my earrings and AirPods. I love the bold colors and prints in this 3-pack.

Creating a functional WFH space in a small apartment is not for the faint of heart. This desk takes up minimal square footage, but looks stylish thanks to its gold legs. The open storage compartments give you plenty of space to stow your keyboard, planner, and other office essentials.

Just because you're renting doesn't mean your walls have to be white and boring. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is one of the best ways to make a builder-grade rental feel like your own space. I have all the heart eyes over this moody bloom-filled print.

The easiest way to turn your bedroom into the oasis you deserve? Pile your bed with so many cozy pillows that it'll make it nearly impossible to get out once your alarm sounds. I love the tassels and textured finish of these oversized pillows, which are available in five lovely shades.

Stop putting off the search for the perfect coffee table because this one is just $42! It's a good option for anyone looking for something sleek that can meld with existing decor, including your roommate's (kind of ugly) couch.
