If you’re a lover of all things natural, like rattan, rafia, grasscloth, jute, and more, then Serena & Lily was made with you in mind. The company’s bread and butter are these materials, usually featured in pieces that you’d see in an upscale waterfront property or a Nancy Meyers movie set. And if you’re thinking this specific aesthetic isn’t for you, that might not necessarily be the case. “Serena & Lily’s natural wovens and bone inlay mirrors, along with anything covered in grasscloth, is right up my alley and makes for a beautiful counterpoint to some of the more colorful and eclectic pieces I opt for when designing,” says Shauna Jones, owner and lead designer of Shauna Glenn Design.

World Market is one of my favorites and it’s low-key a sleeper pick. Their selection is quality—from fun and tasteful holiday collections to top-tier accents and seating, there are so many wonderful pieces at this retailer that will make your home so vibey and unique. Albany Park is a favorite among Cosmo’s lifestyle team. I have their low-profile Barton Sofa in a buttery smooth camel velvet and I damn near haven’t gotten off of it since receiving it. But please do not sleep on their big furniture pieces, especially their patio items (let us never forget the chokehold that the 2021 egg chair had us all in!). For the price, you’ll be hard-pressed to find outdoor furniture that is this comfortable, aesthetic, durable, and versatile. Even after withstanding some bad weather, the cushions keep their shape and texture and the fabric doesn’t fade. And if you’re looking for a set? This is by far one of the best brands to snag it from that won’t drain your wallet.

If you love ultra luxe glamour with a side of whimsy, then anything by Jonathan Adler will make you absolutely swoon. The prices for this brand can get super steep, and for good reason, but Jones suggests leaning in to JA’s accessories and textiles, as well as the vases, pillows, nightstands, and side tables. “There are so many unique decor accents that make for great finishing touches in any home,” she says. I have JA’s Rocket Scotch Decanter on my bar cart and it’s such a fun splash for the space and a lot more visually alluring than the usual glass decanters.

My least favorite thing about furniture is that you have to actually put it all together. It is a total buzzkill and makes me question every skill I have. Thankfully, Thuma is here to solve all those problems. All of the minimalist pieces are no frills, but they don’t skim on quality and thoughtful details. Some of the pieces, like their Classic Bed, can be assembled in five! minutes! by one person (!!), and the Nest Dresser will take a whopping 10 minutes with just one person. Mind you, all of this requires absolutely zero tools, so say hello to your peace of mind being returned.

CB2 has been one of my go-tos for a while, specifically for all things dining. I’m obsessed with everything from their flatware (I’ve had their Parallel Brushed Black set for few years and it’s withstood time), serving dishes (the Mori Matte Black serving bowl is basically the love of my life), and wide array of drinkware (big fan of their Estera white wine glasses!).
