Modern Family has kept us laughing for over the last decade and now that the show is over (RIP), it's about time we moved on to greener pastures...not. The comedy show is too iconic to fall into the abyss of TV-shows-no-one-has-ever-heard-of. I mean, the cast? Perfection. The writing? Phenomenal. And, the guest stars? Out-of-this-freaking-world.

I'm glad ya asked. ‘Cause while Sofía Vergara, Ed O’Neill, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson MADE Modern Family, there were a few guest stars who brought the bang too. Like that episode in season three where Leslie Mann starred as the hot bar girl who fooled around with Cameron (even though he's gay) to get back at Mitch? Pure golden comedy.

Minnie Driver
In the first season of Modern Family, Good Will Hunting star Minnie Driver appeared as Claire’s close friend and former co-worker, Valerie. In the episode, Claire notices that Valerie looks down on her for choosing to have a family instead of focusing on her career. To prove her wrong, Claire brings Valerie home to spend time with the Dunphys, and as expected, chaos ensues.
Vanessa Williams
We meet Rhonda, a wealthy club member in season nine and because of her, uhhh, charm, she's a face we'll never forget.
Leslie Mann
Leslie Mann might be known for her roles in Big Daddy and Knocked Up but she also guest starred on the show in its third season. Re: the hot bar girl. A girl boss and icon for the 13 minutes she appeared on-screen.
Lin-Manuel Miranda
When you think of Lin-Manuel Miranda, a few things come to mind: Hamilton, the soundtrack of Disney film Moana, or his show-stopping performance in the 2018 remake of Mary Poppins. But in 2011, his name was Guillermo and he worked at a grocery store. Good times. 🙂

In 2017, the Frasier star guest appeared on the show as Keifth, Cam’s circus ringmaster ex.
James Marsden
In Slow Down Your Neighbors, actor James Marsden played Cam and Mitchell’s attractive neighbor who they thought lived in the apartment above them. But because this is Modern Family, nothing is what it seems.
Bobby Cannavale
The New York actor appeared in the comedy series as a conniving clown named Lewis. Cannavale’s performance was so impressive that it earned him a Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series nomination at the 2nd Critics' Choice Television Awards. Bravo!
Matthew Broderick
In season four, actor Matthew Broderick took on the role of Dave, a friend of Cam's that went to the same school as Phil. Phil invites Dave over for a guy’s night, but Dave mistakenly thinks it’s a date. *Tyra Banks' voice* We were rooting for ya. We were all rooting for you! RIP Phil + Dave.
Elizabeth Banks
Technically, she wasn't a guest star (more of a recurring character, imo) but we're gonna include her anyways. I mean, she made plenty of surprises (haha, get it?) as Mitch and Cam's party-loving pal, Sal.
