I don't know about you, but when December rolls around, I want to become a full-fledged puddle in the center of my couch. Tis the szn when I crave warm beverages straight to the face, twinkly lights in my periphery, and sherpa-adjacent fabrics touching my skin at all times. The holidays are all about being comfy AF—at least they are in my house. Sure, I'll put on some sequins and stilettos for a festive party or two (mostly because I love champagne), but other than that, cuddle mode is activated and there's no turning it off. And because I like for my home to closely resemble my mood, I go for the ~cozy Christmas aesthetic~ all month long.

If you're like me and like your interior design to reflect your inner lazy polar bear come Christmastime, you're in luck, because I compiled a list of products to help you do just that. Scroll down for some tips on how to get that aforementioned cozy Christmas aesthetic in a snap, as well as exactly what home products you need to add to cart to make it happen. Don't worry—they're all easy to add to your existing decor and pretty darn affordable, because, well, I get it. (Those post-Christmas sales aren't going to invest in themselves.) Happy decorating, my little elves!

Cold weather means warm beverages are an absolute must, and if you aren't sipping out of a Christmas-inspired mug, what's the point? I personally love this holly jolly mug that's shaped like Santa's face— wind-burnt pink cheeks and all.

It seems like there's always an excuse to serve up a festive cocktail around the holidays. (If you haven't been invited to a Christmas party yet, that means you should be the one throwing it.) Make sure your glassware is as fab as the drinks themselves by investing in some new coupes, like these hand-blown beauts.

Personally, I can't get enough of the bottle brush tree trend. Grab a pack (or two) and display 'em anywhere that could use a little ~spirit~, like your mantle or dining room table.

Sprinkle some faux snow...everywhere

You can never have enough snow (as long as it's fake). Take a handful of the good stuff and sprinkle it liberally throughout your lil abode, focusing on tabletops, trees, and your mantle, if you've got one. Rinse and repeat.

Rock a robe so plush it's basically a blanket

If you have roommates (kids, parents, and partners count, yes) it might be weird to actually wear a blanket 24/7. Luckily, these hella-plush robes from Brooklinen are the next closest thing. Personally, I'd choose the red-and-white one. It's giving chic-and-cozy candy cane, no?

Light a Christmas-inspired scented candle (or three)

If you don't have a fireplace, candles are the next best thing. (They might even be better, because you don't have to deal with actual logs and other intimidating outdoor things.) I love this candle because it has notes of spruce, pine needles, and fir balsam—so basically, the holy trinity of Christmas tree smells. Grab a match and burn, baby, burn.

I falalalalaLOVE this pillow. That's it. That's the tweet. Pop it on your couch or bed alongside a series of other wintery throw pillows, and you're already halfway to a cozy Christmas.

Grab a pre-lit Christmas tree (that looks hella real but isn’t)

Balsam Hill Classic Blue Spruce (7.5')

I mean...Christmas isn't Christmas without a Christmas tree, right? This blue-spruce beauty measures in at just under eight feet, so it's pretty damn majestic, and looks so real your guests won't believe the needles are actually made of PVC. Plus it comes pre-lit, so all you have to do is plug it in to get that soft glow only a Christmas tree can give.

If you're going to be nestled all snug as a bug and such, you might as well deck that bed out like you deck your halls. This plaid sherpa comforter is fun and festive without looking too Mrs. Claus. So much so that you might just wanna leave it on until, like, April.

Make like a young JBiebs and get to smooching under the mistletoe. Don't have a Santa baby? You can always get a wet one from your dog/cat/hamster. Don't have a pet? Call it Christmas decor and just leave it at that.

Make a tablescape with festive, but still chic, dishes

Truth: There are plenty of tacky Christmas decorations out there. Fortunately, these festive dishes don't fall under that category. The pattern on these dinner plates says "It's December!" while still being like, kinda chill about it.

ICYMI: You can have a house that smells like a Christmas tree even if your tree is fake. In my humble opinion, Bath and Body Works's Fresh Balsam is theeeeee OG Christmas scent, and this plug-in will keep whatever room you put it in smelling OTT festive all day long.
