When you're choosing a tarot deck, there are so many options that it can be overwhelming! One suggestion: Let your zodiac sign guide you.

Why? Every zodiac sign will deal with different struggles, and every zodiac sign will resolve them differently. Each sign will also feel more drawn to specific art styles and themes. Picking a tarot deck that you feel ~a connection with~ is the most important thing. Believe me, these cards will bond better with you. Don't feel like the deck paired with your sign reflects ~you~, or just want more than one? Check your Moon sign and Rising sign as well!

No matter your zodiac sign, I recommend you pull your tarot cards during the New Moon and the Full Moon. These are the most potent times of the month, and they provide an opportunity to reflect on your wants, progress, and future. But twice is very much a minimum—pull your cards whenever you're looking for guidance, or even daily!

If you're new to reading tarot cards, or even if you're a pro, I've provided a simple, three-card tarot spread for each zodiac sign. Here's how to do it: Shuffle the tarot deck until you feel ready, then pull three tarot cards (or just keep shuffling until they fall out). I wrote three guiding questions for each zodiac sign—the first card answers the first question, the second card answers the second question, and so on. You can look up the traditional interpretation of each tarot card, simply reflect on what your intuition tells you, or both. There are no wrong answers here!

This deck speaks to Aries' fiery personality and their need to be involved in drama! This fire sign is also very resilient and able to overcome hardships—something I associate with Disney villains (the most interesting Disney characters, IMO!). While we may not always love them, villains can teach us powerful lessons and show us how to get tougher. Sometimes called "the baby of the zodiac," Aries of all ages are drawn to fun, storytelling decks like these.

Taurus is driven by both their heart and their head: They tend to make very informed decisions, but their care for their loved ones always come first. These earth signs are trendy, family-oriented, protective, and tend to be successful. This deck's authoritative tone can help guide Taurus when making hard choices. Plus, most of the figures in this deck are valiant leaders and motherly figures—basically, they could all be Tauruses.

Sagittarius is known for laid-back vibes, fun times, and adventure, but they also have vivid imaginations and deep thoughts! The Mystic Mondays deck caters to their imaginative mind, but also helps keep them on track (something they need help with!). Capricorns are known for being practical, but they're also romantic and they seek pleasure, abundance, and gain in life. Usually, they also want things to move fast in their life—they don't want to waste time! The Tarot del Fuego is quick and fiery, and it can help Capricorn spice up their life. This deck explodes with color and movement, and since Capricorn doesn’t always make time for divination or self-reflection, these images could help motivate them to read more often.
