Your Tarot Card Reading for the Week of September 29

As September draws to a close, as does this column. This is my and Tarotscope's last week—thank you everyone for making it a pleasure to write for you these last seven years. We're preparing to turn the page to October, spooky season, and the thinning of the veil between worlds! This is a phase for divination, spiritual awakening, and intuition. The Seven of Wands challenges us to make a project or ambition out of our spirituality. What can you learn, understand, unlock, practice, or try this coming month? Maybe tarot, oracle, scrying, meditation, journaling, yoga, pendulum divination or herbology? Open up the school of magic in your home and dive into a whole new world. You are becoming.

All rise for the Wheel of Fortune, when it begins to turn no one knows what’s coming! And, actually Aries, this kinda’ excites you. This is a week for transformation and leaning into unseen forces and using them to propel into new realities and opportunities. Use your intuition to guide you towards areas that look shaky, fading, or chaotic. These are the liminal spaces where change is fighting its way in, and you could be first in line to receive whatever gifts that shift brings! Prepare for the unexpected, and enjoy the ride.

The World is the tarot’s final card and a symbol of completion and achievement. You have been working very hard to climb a particular mountain in your realm and the summit draws near. You can see the end game now. So, what’s next? I don’t mean to rush you ahead, but you ought to consider how you will celebrate this achievement and mark its closure, as well as what might naturally follow as your next "big thing"? Let your subconscious start to mull it over.

You are no stranger to falling out with people because you are honest and have a sharp tongue. You say things as they are, sometimes adding a little spice too. It gets you in hot water. However, you have learned over time to try and temper your urge to lay out brutal home truths so easily. That said, sometimes you can’t help it or others seem to ask for it! And this week will be like that so think ahead now and consider avoiding or deflecting folk who you know you have tension with. Side-step the bad vibes and you can chart a peaceful path. Or find a way to bite your tongue and get through the encounter without damage. Or, just go ahead and say how you feel! Maybe they even need to hear it. Maybe you need to say it out loud.

A wonderful window of opportunity will emerge this week, Cancer, to plant a prosperous seed in the area of your health and wellbeing. This is something you can nurture and breathe life into over the fall and winter months, and will blossom into fruition next spring, revealing all of its gifts and rewards. Maybe this is a lifestyle change, a new class, a gym membership, a soothing ritual, a skincare regime that kicks ass. Whatever it is, tailor it to what you feel you need and can easily do, and let it weave its magic into your life.

Look for new faces this week, Leo, because you might be on the cusp of falling in love with one of them! A bold statement. However, the Ace of Cups is a bold omen predicting romance, passion, love at first sight, fertility and growing families, new pets or friends, and even creative roles or projects that have long been pursued. Whatever sounds like your dream come true from this varied list, well, it may be within reach this week. Believe in your vision of love, breathe life into it, take steps towards it, and let hope guide you to what is now meant for you.

Make manifesting your number one priority this week, Virgo, because The Star is gracing you with her magical presence. She is the wish granter of the tarot, almost like a genie in a bottle, albeit you only get one wish granted, not three! Something you feel is out of reach will come closer between now and February 2026, it could be related to travel or technology or a progressive leap into the unknown which pays off wonderfully. You must be prepared to sacrifice something (even your self doubt). You must be clear what it is you most want. You are being chosen to receive a magical dream come true.

Conflict is not your bag. Crossing words makes you feel icky. You’re more of a charmer, persuader, and diplomat, which frankly gets much better results and without the stress. Arguments and forced opinions often feel like invasion to the other person and the points don’t land because the emotions and defenses are heightened. However, sometimes a little more force is needed to ensure your subject is still, present, and listening to what you’re saying. Don’t be shy of raising your voice a bit this week or demanding an audience. What you have to say or suggest or challenge is very worthwhile and the initial response may be lackluster. Don’t give up at that point. Press on. Be assertive.

You are ready to enter into the realm of the Expert. You are seeking or providing highly prized knowledge and skill, maybe both. Sometimes the easiest and most solid way to acquire knowledge is to teach it (even if to an imaginary pupil) because it forces you to fully understand, condense, and regurgitate what you’re reading or learning. Make sure you’re getting the best sources of intel, that you’re testing the ideas and theories out and discussing them out loud to help yourself absorb their full meaning or potential, and then find someone you can share your summary with and be questioned by. Do all this and you will leap and bound to the next level of expertise that will unlock further recognition and opportunities.

It’s time to move on. It’s actually overdue, which is why this departure won’t be sad or difficult, all of the grieving or coming to terms with it has already unfolded. This is just the final act of severance. I suspect that mentally and emotionally you’ve already left the building, but maybe someone else needs to have that spelled out, or even be thanked and celebrated for taking this journey so far with you. Make your endings as well as you can, but don’t NOT make them for fear of upset. It’s an important rite of passage.

The time of procrastination has ended. The era of manifestation and activation has begun. Jump in with full confidence and enthusiasm. It’s time to rise.

Everyone thinks you’re doing grand, everyone is pleased with your progress and efforts, and in this mood of goodwill there might be prizes, rewards, and promotions to be had. So, make sure you’re visible and welcoming this week. Let folk know what you’re working on, hoping for, and aiming at, and you will be amazed at how many offers of help and support come flooding back to you. Genuine help from others is the best gift, because it fills gaps you need filling and offers an accelerant you couldn’t create alone. Take all the help you can get and propel yourself towards success.
