The first thing pretty much every American says when they land in Bermuda is: WTF? This is so close! And, yeah, I maintained that tradition, because my flight landed basically an hour after it took off and I was at my hotel drinking Champagne less than 10 mins later. If you live on the East Coast, Bermuda is an incredibly convenient destination that should go on your bucket list immediately. And staying at The Loren Hotel at Pink Beach is also a no-brainer, because look at this view from my enormous balcony:
Now, I love a sunny beach vacation as much as the next girl, so when I was packing for this trip and saw rain forecasted for the entire time I was there, you could say I was bummed. But, upon arrival, I hardly noticed the rain, because I was having such a damn good time and was instantly so stress-free. Not to mention, the views and atmosphere we're still A+++. The water was so crystal clear, I could see huge rainbow parrot fish swimming around the rocks every day from my room, and, one of the days, an eagle ray (one of those black stingrays with white speckles) gliding by.
Safe to say I loved this vibey property, from the huge room to the delicious food and drinks, and the very relaxing spa. And I'm already planning my next trip back, because I can't get over how close, convenient, and straight-up beautiful absolutely every aspect of this hotel is. Let's dive into the details, shall we?

THE FIRST IMPRESSIONS
So, like I said, flying to Bermuda from the East Coast takes less than two hours, which, I can't stress enough, is such a short time for the straight-up Caribbean vibes—and temps!—you are met with upon arrival. On my flight, we barely had time to down one beverage before we started our descent. I visited in September, which meant that New York was already experiencing fall, but in Bermuda, I got to extend my summer in the best way possible. Customs took literally zero time, and, 10 minutes after disembarking, I was walking through the front doors of The Loren. 10/10 tropical flight, IMO.
Rolling into the hotel, I was greeted with a glass of bubbles and immediate on-point aesthetics, with an incredible panoramic ocean view and tons of vibey decor in the lobby.
Exploring the rest of the grounds a bit more, I became obsessed with the main terrace/balcony just off the lobby, where guests can host cocktail events or just take in more of the incredible view, which also overlooks the sweet pool setup and the relaxing beach area. The stress essentially melted off of me as soon as my eyes drank in the ocean, so I'm hoping the pics can do it a small amount of justice.
THE ROOMS
My room felt huge. Walking in, you first see the huge bathroom, complete with a large soaking tub with a chandelier above, a double vanity with plenty of space for makeup application, a separate room for the toilet, and a huge shower. I had big plans for reading and wine-drinking in that tub, so I loved that it was appointed with a tray for exactly those purposes, as well. Moving into the rest of the room, there was a huge closet (yes, with robes inside, because luxury), a desk, a very large TV, and an incredibly comfy king-size bed.
But the main event was the huge balcony just beside the bed. You could fit my entire NYC kitchen on this balcony and still have room left over. There was a three-seater outdoor sofa as well as two more reading chairs. Most of the time I was in this room (apart from when I was sleeping) I was on this balcony. Even in the rain, because it was pretty well-protected from the elements. I soaked up the sun there. I read my little novels there. I contemplated life there. I lived, laughed, and loved there. It was beautiful. It was perfect.
THE AMENITIES
The Loren is stacked with amenities. On the grounds, you can easily pick up a book in the library or a board game at their second-floor bar, if you're looking to pass the time on a rainy day. There are two pools, one for families and one for toddlers, that overlook the ocean and the pink (yes pink!) sand beach below, complete with a pool bar, of course. You can rent personal cabanas if you want a little extra privacy and space, too. The beach has a ton of lounge chairs for sunbathing, but the hotel also has kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and underwater scooters (little handheld motorized vessels that'll scoot you around in the shallow water just in front of the hotel—they are SO FUN). There's also a yoga instructor who teaches daily classes, and a fitness center with all the usual stuff.
Since it was raining, I optimized my day around The Sisley Spa, which featured Sisely Paris skincare products and was one of the most zen things I've done in a while. I got the 80-minute Signature Loren Massage, complete with hot salt stones. Boy, do I ever hope you can get that too, because I left feeling loosey-goosey in the best possible way. I haven't had this kind of movement in my neck in years—my therapist truly got all my knots and I think I had a permanent smile on my face the rest of my trip after that experience.
THE FOOD AND BEV
There are two restaurants at The Loren (and also a pool bar). I was only at the hotel for a couple of days, so I pretty much ate at the main one, called The Pink Beach Club, for every meal. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the seafood ravioli for dinner and the pretzel club for lunch.
The Marée Lounge, the bar upstairs, had a great assortment of drinks and also had a menu of sushi options, which I definitely would have explored if I had stayed more days, to switch it up. The drinks were fab and the bartender, Kenny, knows his stuff. He relayed some great facts about the island (we were just on the precipice of whale season, which gave me severe FOMO) along with drink recommendations.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Listen, a weekend away can't get more relaxing than my experience at The Loren. It just can't! A spa service so good, your body actually melts away to become a new body? Food so delicious and fresh you decide you may need to move here for the rest of your life and forget all your obligations back in the U.S.? A vibe so relaxing you read multiple romance novels in one weekend? I couldn't ask for anything more.
