Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were spotted making out at Coachella, and the videos were either cute or awkward depending on your interpretation (a body language expert is leaning awkward, fwiw). Either way, clearly the time has come for a status update on these two, and the short version? They're still going strong. The long version? They've kinda been through it.
A source tells People that Kylie and Timmy are "very serious," but that awards season was a lot.
“With the awards season and premieres, earlier this year was intense for their relationship,” the insider explains. “But they are making it work. Kylie is truly his biggest fan. She would clear her schedule to attend awards and premieres with him. She couldn’t be more supportive of his career. When they are in LA together, he spends time with her kids too. Her family loves that she’s dating him. They have seen such positive changes in Kylie. She’s the happiest."
Meanwhile last month, another insider told the Daily Mail that Timothée has a hard time with the public nature of their relationship distracting from his work. “He really only wants to be a headline with his work, not his relationship, so he can be apprehensive at times,” they said. “He is very much in love with Kylie, but he does get a little shy with PDA as he knows eyeballs are watching.”
All that said, Kylie and Timothée “spend every waking second together” and “what they have is real, despite what the naysayers believe.” As the Daily Mail's source put it: “If he is now preparing to propose, she would say yes in a heartbeat.”
