Kristine Frøseth and Guy Remmers’ Relationship Timeline

For everyone still reeling over the season 2 finale of The Buccaneers, I’ve got more !!! news for you: actors Kristine Frøseth and Guy Remmers (aka Nan St. George and Theo, the Duke of Tintagel) are actually a couple in real life. The two began dating all the way back in 2022 after meeting on the set of the Apple TV+ series, and as far as I know, the couple is still going strong.

Of course, their romance is so low-key that you may not have even realized it was happening. For that reason, I present to you a handy timeline of how Kristine and Guy (not to be confused with Guy Thwarte, Nan’s other love interest on The Buccaneers) first got together and where they stand now.

March 2022

Principal photography for the first season of The Buccaneers begins in Madrid, which is presumably where Kristine and Guy first cross paths. (Later, during an interview with Tatler, Guy confirms that he and Kristine met on set.)

September 2023

Kristine takes to her Instagram Stories to share an intimate-looking pic of herself and someone who looks like Guy cuddling on a beach, which has fans like 😱.

In his interview with Tatler, Guy opens up about his girlfriend (!!), saying “her energy” is his favorite thing about her. “We both love to dance,” he says.

December 2023

The Buccaneers season 1 premieres, and the following month at a photocall, Kristine and Guy look...kinda smitten, no? (Sry to Matthew Broome.)

The costars attend the Simone Rocha show during London Fashion Week together, which has fans who apparently missed Guy’s Tatler interview wondering, “Um, are these two an item??”

During an interview with People, Kristine shares how she tried (and failed) to throw a surprise birthday for her boyfriend (!!) Guy.

“I was trying to host a surprise birthday party for the first time in my life,” she explains. “And I organized everything and everyone was coming. But that weekend, the schedule changed and so everyone went home. So it was basically just me and my boyfriend, unfortunately. I’m still having to try and make up for it.”
